Great fishing and some of the best breakfast on the lake at the Cafe

I’ll never go back. My Patti melt burger was smaller than a child’s burger at McDonalds and no surprise it was over cooked. Advertised 1/3 lbs and I’m guessing it was half that. My wife’s 1/3 lbs was twice the size of mine. Service was mediocre, glad she never asked how it was. Getting into and out of the place was interesting. The porch is narrow and filled with tables so hard to get around people and furniture. Inside was full of flies to fight off during our meal. Never again. Oh, yeah, waffle fries were good.

These folks are Uber friendly and have great senses of humor. Best eggs ever for breakfast. A small mom and pop operation right on the lake. Excellent.

I don't know about the rooms or that area but the Blue Harbor cafe is the best place to eat in my opinion. Great food awesome prices and a home atmosphere like your at home setting at the table with family. So remember if your in that area stop and get great food.

I love this place! So peaceful. It is truly a community. The people here treat everyone like family. The food is good, so is the fishing. If you are looking for peace and a slow down from life, this is a perfect destination. I have been coming to Grand Lake for almost 50 years. The Blue Bluff resort has never felt better. Thank you Emily, Charlie, Melissa and Eva.

Heard about the little cafe so went for breakfast. Super nice people! We wanted to check out the fishing dock, & we were pretty impressed. Will definitely be back for fishing!

We were greeted by clean, neat and well appointed "cabins" (two cabins #1 and #3). The décor was pleasing and the view from our rooms was very nice. The grounds were well maintained and clean. Both our cabins had nice working gas grills with grilling utensils, microware, coffeemaker and place settings for four. Cabin #3 did not have an oven and neither had a cookie sheet (for biscuits etc) but were well stocked otherwise. The grounds were well lighted and the fishing dock was very clean and well maintained. Don't let the picture of cabin #1 fool you- it is a very nicely appointed and constructed cabin with a wonderful front porch. Cabin 1 is where our group of 7 adults and a 1st grader grilled and dined on the porch every night. We spent a lot of time in the fish dock which was the nicest I've been to on Grand. This property is rustic but well maintained and charming, surrounded by huge trees and right on the water. We even enjoyed the swimming dock. This isn't Holiday Inn, its a lake side resort with all the charm of an old school lake side resort. We all had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it for a country getaway. The restaurant had very good food, but Labor Day breakfast was too much for the lil place; if you have a large group, best to break it up into several smaller parties so as not to swamp the cook. Best Indian Taco ever!!
