Pizzaaaaaaa! Wood fired, great crust, sauce well balanced, good quality cheese, great toppings and specialty flavor options. The Nutella dessert pizza is super good and rich, but hard to eat more than one slice a day.

TL;DR: Do NOT skip this place if you like NY-style pizza!

My roommate and I ordered from BH last night. He's from upstate NY and I lived there for 10 years - so we're sort of extra picky about pizza.

First of all, the idea of a stone-fired pizza is a balm to my soul. It beats anything ever placed in a typical oven. But I have to give this place serious kudos for anything close to NY-style pizza in the midwest. I cannot thank them enough! Everywhere else I've been just about, from Georgia to Arizona, it's been slices so thick you could probably use them to hold a door open. Even "thin crust" often to be just too thick for my tastes.

Of course, it should be noted that my judgement is very biased, and I weigh all pizza against that of a place in upstate NY called Rena's. The pizzas are always thin crust. Always delicious - the owner is really strict with how his pies are made and by whom. And they have a wonderful snap when you bite down into a slice. No pizza has ever come close to matching that kind of deliciousness.

Until now.

While our pie lacked that lovely little snap, everything else was *chef's kiss* perfect, IMHO. We ordered the pepperoni lovers. These guys understood the assignment and then some. Not one square centimeter of that pie was left uncovered. Holy pepperoni! It was everywhere! And I loved it. Other places are so skimpy, even with their "lovers" pies.

Please, do not get me started on the cheese. Okay, I'll tell ya. I don't know what cheese they use or where it comes from but it is like eating cheesy, gooey silk. I loved it!! And not just because I have an affinity for cheese. I'm picky about my cheese, especially on pizza and this did not disappoint.

We also ordered some type of blueberry barbecue wings. I don't quiet recall the name, but omg we were both in heaven. The wings actually outshone the pizza in flavor - shocking.

My only issue, and the reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, was that the skin on the wings wasn't crispy. They totally deserve 5 stars, regardless of my finickiness. Floppy skin just freaks me out.

I totally understand that they're operating out of food truck. I also understand that my opinion is biased af. I judge all wings on... the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. Those wings are typically fried, and that may not be something that's doable in BH's setup. Totally understandable, and no one should fault them for that.

All that aside, the sauce was absolutely delicious! Rather like eating a savory candy.

Delivery was fast - even though the delivery guy said he was running late. What we did find hilarious was that my roommate had got a text from BH (via Door Dash, I think) about an hour after we'd already eaten, saying that 1) our order was delayed and 2) our order had been cancelled. So just FYI, order through the Toast app, not through Door Dash.

We will definitely be ordering from BH again. Do not skip this place.

Great stop for lunch! Pizza was cooked perfectly. I think they put too much cheese but that's better than not enough. I wish they sold pizza by the slice. It's worth stopping here if you got 10 minutes and 12 bucks!

First let me say the pizza here is so good! Unfortunately I have tried to eat here a dozen times and actually only been able to twice. Every time I show up for a pizza during the posted hours the truck is closed. We've tried calling a few times and get a "something happened but we'll be open from 5-10 tonight" so we'll head into town at 6 and the truck is closed. We've kind of given up at this point and head the other direction (from Apple valley) and just go into Springdale to get pizza at Pizza and Noodle.

Hi guys, Joeybigfivesix here! This pizza is one of my favorites in the entire world! I’ve been to Italy and New York and this pizza is better than all the pizza places there! Definitely try it out!

Great flavors! The crust had that nice crisp on the outside with a warm, pillowy inside you expect from a wood fired oven. We will definitely be back. Try the garlic caprese!

I have seen their trailer around the community and thought, just another pizza place, but today I tried it. There is nothing standard about this pizza. It is a true brick oven pizza. The crust is amazingly crispy with a full smoky flavor. The servings are generous and the price is so worth it. Above standard! Well done.
