We had the pleasure of working with Blackstone Caterers for our wedding at Blithewold Mansion, and they were absolutely phenomenal. From start to finish, their team made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.

The initial tasting was such a memorable and fun event—it gave us confidence in their expertise and left us excited for our big day. Their team’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were evident throughout the planning process. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and ensure everything was perfect.

On the wedding day, the Blackstone team truly delivered. The staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, making sure our guests were well taken care of. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted as amazing as we remembered from the tasting. Our guests are still raving about the delicious cuisine and the great service.

Blackstone Caterers helped make our wedding day unforgettable, and we can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking for exceptional catering for their special event.

My work had a company marketing event this evening and Blackstone catered. Top notch!!! The food was impeccable and the service. Absolutely everything was perfect!!! And all of the staff were lovely! Right down to the young men and women that looked like teenagers but probably were not, they were perfect!!! Highly recommend!

What can I say? From start to end of our wedding planning process Blackstone was our saving grace. We planned our November 2023 Providence wedding from Los Angeles, and the Blackstone team (especially Gina!) made it seamless despite the long distance planning.

Blackstone is truly a full service event caterer and worth every penny. They thought of every detail and took care of things that weren't even on my radar until they brought them up. More importantly they were super responsive, clear and transparent in their communication, and had endless patience for my questions and requests. We got married at the Roger William's Botanical Center and had to bring in everything ourselves, and Blackstone was essential in leading the entire wedding flow, rentals, etc. and everything else. We did have a Day of Coordinator to help with our DIYs, florals, and non-food timeline which was super important.

And of course I haven't even started on the FOOD. Absolutely delicious!! Our guests were blown away. One major highlight was the customization of the "RI seafood" app station to include some Maryland seafood favorites as well to honor both my husband and my hometowns. Huge hit with the guests.

Also the servers on the night of the wedding were wonderful! In the current climate where so many food & bev companies are short staffed, we felt like we were in great hands the entire night.

I can't thank Gina, Dada, and the entire Blackstone staff enough!! I just wish we could get married again and do it all over.

Incredible, phenomenal, hands down best food around. Everyone was great to work with (especially Gina) and our wedding was all the better for having Blackstone involved! They are on top of every small detail and it really makes a difference. Their food is top tier perfect, I could eat it every day and be so happy!

The opportunity to 'wow' our guests through locally sourced means, providing a 'taste of Rhode Island' and showing our friends and family why we love to call lil' Rhody our home, Blackstone Caterers delivered.

Karen was a completely pleasure to work with, her infectious smile and lovable laugh, she worked with us constantly throughout, answering our thoughts, questions, and concerns promptly. Scheduled, constructive meetings followed by our tasting, we were able to work with Karen to the very last minute on our wedding. An accompaniment of linens and china, plenty of culinary options to choose to tailor to the season, in our case between Summer and Autumn, familiar and able to work with our other vendors, there was not one discouraging comment from our friends and family, in fact, they can't stop talking about it.

The setup and décor simply beautiful, the food presentation (cocktail hour, passed hors d'oeuvres, and plated dinner) spectacular, the staff meticulous, tailored, and definitely on foot and knee for our guests, hands down, highly recommend Blackstone Caterers.

I apologize for taking so long to write this. Blackstone Caterers serviced my daughter's wedding at Rose Cliff in May, and everything was perfect. The food was amazing. Not one complaint. Many of the guests raved about the food. The service was great, the food was great and the wedding was amazing. Thank you for making this special day the best day of our lives.
