We celebrated New Years morning with a group of 20 plus. The staff did an excellent job putting us together by arranging tables in a separate section of the restaurant. Corey was our server and did an awesome job. Coffee cups were always full, special requests were handled with a smile and with some help from the kitchen team, delivered awesome food for everyone. A great way to start a new year. See you again for the start of 2026!

Even on a holiday weekend with a wait, moved quickly. Very fast, attentive, friendly, and patient service. Kid friendly. Parking lot got full but that's because there are many businesses in the Plaza and it was a holiday. We managed to get a spot within a few minutes. Free parking. Extensive menu choices. Tasty diner food.

I love this place, everything is good and tasty. My favorite plate is salmon but their cornbread is the best in town! The mashed potatoes with country gravy, yummy. My husband loved the waffle with fried chicken. The price is fair. The place is always clean and fast service. The employees are very polite and friendly. Big parking lots, clean restroom, a lot of tables, chairs and bench’s. They have great desserts and some different stuff at the cashier.

I have dined at Black Bear in AZ. This one was under staffed. The food was ok. The employees were trying but couldn't keep up. My Reuben was a bit tough. Wife's pancakes were very good! Friends Bacon and eggs were ok.

We only get Uber eats from there so I don’t know about inside. But everything we have had from this place has been EXCELLENT!!! It’s our favorite so far!!! 🔥

This was the best black bear diner we had experienced! We recently did a take over for my daughter’s cheer team and Alfredo was so welcoming! The GM Vicky is running this establishment well! Alfredo helped with all questions we had and was hands on while maintaining to delegate his team! Thank you for such amazing experience! As a bonus the food was amazing y’all! Try there burgers!

We love Black Bear Diner!! We have been going to the one in Gilbert AZ for years! I was so happy to see that they opened one in Yuma!! We came here with some friends on the way back from the sand dunes. Our server's name was Scott and he was awesome! They were able to get us right in and that awe great! The portions are huge! You can definitely share each plate with 2 people. I ordered the por boy Omelet. And my daughter ordered the mini volcano and my buddy ordered the chicken fried steak. There was 10 people in our group so I don't remember all the dishes. All in all the food was good! The problem is that is was not great. Everything needed salt and pepper except the French Toast. I did enjoy the fried jalapenos. They were super hot!! Add some seasoning to the food and you could be 5 stars!!

The breakfast and dinner here are really good and worth consideration. For Veterans Day I tried the NYC Steak meal. Scrumptious, as was the all-you-can-eat Fish Fry, which included Sweet Potato Fries. Awesome. I mean, crispy Fish and flavorful fries/cole slaw. I didn't taste the other meals ordered at the table but the dessert looked delightful; speaking of the Classic Bear Claw and the Pumpkin Cheesecake a la mode.

Worth going in and enjoying it! otherwise for a quality time, it's here.
