Classic country vibe American diner. I’ve been told from menu that this restaurant has 30 years history since 1995, it can be tell it was very successful restaurant, everything is solid built and black bear themes reflect in details everywhere. Hope it can continue another 30 years, even competing with so many new styles of restaurant, the solid build country style restaurant always classic.

Went here once when I was in CA. Was pleasantly surprised to see that there was one here as well. Great vibe, great food and excellent portions. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Will always be on the look out for this restaurant chain on my travels.

Good food, good variety. Our waitress was very good. The breakfast portions are large. The only negative I had was the burger patty on my Garlic Parmesan Sourdough Melt was pitifully small resulting in way more bread than burger. I would not order this again for that reason but the flavor was good. Love the hash-browns.

This is my favorite restaurant! The food is amazing! They have a superb menu! The service is wonderful! The chef is the best! He is not only a fabulous "chef," he is very friendly and personable. He comes out and meets and greets the diners and goes the extra mile to make your dining experience a memorable one. So for me, the only thing missing on the menu is a quesadilla. I inquired about that jokingly and our lovely waitress Gretchen told the chef about my request and he immediately came out, grabbed a chair, sat next to me and said he would be happy to make me any kind of quesadilla I wanted. So he made me the best chicken quesadilla I have ever had! He went above and beyond! I can't say enough good things about this delightful diner!

We went to black bear diner with my daughter. I don’t normally bring her out and was a little nervous. The environment was surprisingly kid friendly and our server Gretchen was so sweet with her! The service was not only fast and efficient but also very friendly. Food was great!

Went in for some food and had Gretchen as our server. She made our entire visit amazing. She's so sweet and knows the menu very well and had great suggestions. She's the best and just made our day! The food was yummy too!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Black Bear Diner this evening. The chicken fried steak dinner was on point, and my server Taylor was the sweetest and friendliest person ever. Give this woman a raise, she deserves it! 10/10 would recommend ⭐

I’ve been here and other Black Bear locations because they always provide great food and service
On this visit I had the Pesto Salmon. It was perfectly cooked and moist. The sides were great. The staff are wonderful and there is pretty good parking

I highly recommend dining here
