Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our cabin was a joy to stay in. Cleaning service did an excellent job as well. These cabins may be in the middle of the city, but you wouldn't know it when you there. There also is an ubunance of wild life roaming about as well.

Hidden gem! My husband and I stayed over on a Saturday night. We walked the wooded path around the property and saw a deer. I had hoped to take advantage of the free admittance to the McConnell Health Center (with heated pool) but they close at 5pm on Saturdays. Clean, private, and quiet. Will definitely come back! Front desk personnel at the McConnell Health Center (where you check in) were very helpful.

We had to make a last-minute booking before a big concert last weekend. With only 1 hours notice they were able to accomodate for us arriving and settling in.

This place is everything, affordable, and then some. The two ladies working at the check-in centre (August 11/23 ~3:45pm) were polite beyond belief. Our lodge was massive, comforting, clean and accessible. The lodge is super close to your reserved parking space and the path to get to the lodge is gorgeous. We were also lucky to catch a deer & fawn feeding just down the road from our lodge.

10/10 would come back to Columbus specifically for Big Red’s Lodges.

My physician offered a free night before surgery. When I initially received the call about my accommodations the woman was rude, grumpy and not very helpful so I was worried what the place would actually be like and wasn't sure I would stay because everything felt very unsettling after dealing with the grumpy woman and surgery was already making me anxious enough. The staff was much nicer when I checked in, the room felt clean and comfortable and it was in a very nice and quiet wooded area. If you also have anxiety don't let this grumpy employee make you feel like this isn't a nice place to stay.

The. Lodge is a duplex that you walk a path to. There's no bellhopper to help with luggage. So make sure you have wheels. Nice size bedroom. King bed is pretty uncomfortable. Keurig coffee maker is nice. There's not a lot of counter top space. Small living room space. Nice clean bathroom with walk in shower.

A colleague and I each rented one of the lodges since we wanted to stay close to the Bing Cancer Center for a training course. We were both very pleased with the spaciousness of the lodges and the overall cleanliness (had some concern about that when I read some of the other reviews). The bathroom was huge with the sink in a separate area from the shower and toilet. I particularly enjoyed the gas fireplace, both for the cozy feeling and the extra warmth it provided with the blower option. The kitchenette included a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and dishes/utensils for 4. For a longer stay it would be nice to have a stove top/burner option, but this was fine for a short stay. The pathway and porches were well-lit all night, and parking was easy to find and close to the lodges. Wi-Fi was fast, free, and easy to access.||||Check-in is at the McConnell Heart Health Center (which we didn't realize until going to the lodges first). At check-in, we were offered passes to the fitness center, onsite classes, and $10 coupons to use at the cafe and snack bar. The McConnell staff were welcoming and very helpful in orienting us to the campus. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to walking on the nearby trails in warmer weather in this wooded setting. Overall a great experience!

Stayed here after surgery per my dr orders. I wasnt thrilled about staying in hotel. However when i got there it had private beautiful cabins in back. It was perfect. Living room had fireplace. Totally able to black out bedroom for sleep. It was private. Would definately recommend
