We stayed over a week here. All of the personnel were very easy to work with and friendly we felt more like family than customers. The whole campground is clean and well kept. Wifi was very good and we had good reception with Verizon. Bathhouses are very nice and clean. A friend of ours rented a cabin and liked it very much. It was very nice. Fishing was fun and we also went out on our boat while there. It was too cold to swim but there is a nice beach for the warmer months. My grand kids loved the playground. Oh I almost forgot that there was horseback riding too. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the campground. It is close enough to stores if you need to run to town for anything but they have a lot of essentials in the general store. The laundry was clean and functioning very well. I cant say enough about how nice this place is.

The site that this RV Resort is on is just gorgeous! Right on Wheeler Lake with campsites and cabins in the trees and on the water. They have RV and tent camping as well as cabins. So many amenities and activities for the whole family. We were only stopping by for one night so had one of the deluxe Cabins on the water. It looked new and had everything we needed, like a hotel suite. The night we were there we enjoyed one of their music nights which had a really good 3 piece band with 3 back-up singers, fire pits, marshmallow toasting, corn-hole games people dancing, people sharing food. There is a store for needs, snacks and gifts, rentals for kayaks , electric bikes, and more. The staff are so friendly and helpful and happy to do what they can to make your stay memorable. Waking up and sipping my coffee right at the water's edge watching the Herons and Egrets and jumping fish at sunrise was so nice. Their prices are reasonable and I would definitely stay their again.

This place was a great campground for our weekend stay! The spots were very nice with cement picnic tables and fire pits. They seem to have a lot of activities along with a beach, kayak rentals, and playground for kids. We did the kayak rentals and the staff is super friendly and truly cares about the campground. If you are interested in the kayak rental, the store doesn’t open until 9 am, so we did have to kill 30 minutes because we expected 8 but should have checked first.

The best campground we have been to yet!! So much to do and great sites. The bathrooms were very clean and grounds were kept up. It’s beautiful!! We do not have kids but if you do they have a lot of activities for them to do. They also had live music Friday and Saturday. We have already booked another stay in October!!

The location was perfect. We stayed in site #21 which backed up within 10 feet of the water. We stayed 3 nights and the weather was slightly overcast with a light misty rain and temperatures in the 80’s (in July). Great place to ride bikes or walk. We spent most of our time sitting by the camper enjoying the fish jumping out the water along with the ducks swimming around coming up to site and the squirrels would sit under the concrete tables ( probably waiting for something to eat). The staff was GREAT; everyone was friendly and worked all the time, pressure washing fencing, tables, etc. we will definitely go back and if you like camping you should too.

Absolutely amazing place for family getaway. It was our third time there, and with new owners our experience was beyond expectations. Especially kindness, and wonderful care of my daughters horse ride adventure represented by camp staff just made my heart melt. If you are there with your little one ask for Skip and his friend Patch ?. Thank you, you guys are awesome!
(PS: I bet it is because of that Polish heritage ?)
For those with older kids I would recommend zip line. Our 10 yo loved it when we were there before.

A Perfect "Getaway" That Captured Our Hearts!

My family and I recently stayed in a cabin here on the lake, and let me tell you, it was awesome! Most cabins and RV spots offer a great view of the lake. Waking up to the serene sight of the sun rising over the water was pure magic.

One of the highlights of our stay was the ropes course. It struck the perfect balance—not too long, not too short, but just right for an exhilarating adventure! The zip line at the end is so fun!

The bathrooms? Impeccably clean. It’s always a relief to find such well-maintained facilities when you’re camping. It really made our stay comfortable and worry-free.

While we enjoyed our time thoroughly, there were so many activities we didn’t get to try, like kayaks, jet skis, and horseback riding. We’re already planning our next visit to dive into those adventures! I spoke with new owners and new general manager, and apparently they have more big plans to make this even more fun. They were all so kind and seemed to really care about the "getaway" experience.

Definitely a cute place where you can relax, have fun, and reconnect with nature. Can’t wait to go back!

We stayed in May of 2024. The campground is a nice spot. Our campsite was not the best. It was level just not the best. It was pretty wet no grass and our spot was mulch and orange dirt. Extremely muddy and no place to sit. They had picnic tables and a fire pit but you could not use either one as they were in the middle of the wet area and were tremendously wet. They had big logs outlays the lot spaces but they did not take into account the bigger rigs cannot get out or will get hung up. So they had to move the logs. They were ok with moving them and said no problem. But overall the older section of the campground was nice.
