We booked 5 nights here while awaiting the arrival of our new RV at the dealership. It was more affordable than the Phoenix area. I think that the purpose of travel is to have new experiences, so a kitschy place like this is right up my alley. From the night sky blue glittered exterior stucco to the spaced themed murals, this place has many unique and fun elements. The room and bed were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The light coming through the cracks in the shutters streaked right across our pillows, so it was challenging to avoid having it disturb our sleep. Noise was a bigger problem: trains pass a short distance behind the building, the highway right in front, the loud air conditioner, the sounds from adjacent rooms and the cleaning carts crunching by the door on the concrete. There’s not much they can do about the traffic or trains, but perhaps they could spread guests out more and get some rubber wheels for those carts. We enjoyed having the the pool area to ourselves for the most part, although the jets on the hot tub didn’t work. There’s not much to do, as the town had all but shut down at some point, but you can tell it’s in the process of some revitalization. The breakfast at the on-sight restaurant were mediocre and inconsistent.

Room was clean, front desk was pleasant, but overall the hotel was not worth even half of what we paid for it. It's an old hotel and all doors lead to the outside. There were 2 deadbolts on the door but only one worked. There was no coffee in the room. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was decent. But overall, we felt for almost $200, it should have been so much better. .

The rooms were clean and up to date. With new paint and flooring. All outside rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only down side is breakfast is at the restaurant behind the main office, you have to get your voucher from the front desk daily for your included breakfast. At the restaurant my waitress for the first three days was rude and acted like I was beneath her but the weekend waitress was nice. They also separate the hotel guests from the public at the restaurant.

Great for an overnight stay or a few days. Love that the front desk calls to check on everything about 15 minutes after you enter your room. Very attentive and also offer wake up calls.
And breakfast, included, is from the full service restaurant next door. Plenty of food, eggs to order, really good!

It's a cute space themed hotel and restaurant. The small town has character. Best continental breakfast I've had on my cross country drive. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and the shower was warm. Friendly staff.

From the online photos and reviews we were expecting a much nicer motel. The room was crowded and the floors were dirty, the mattress was lumpy, and the pillows were actually miniature sized.

The staff were all nice and breakfast at the restaurant was good. But the rate of $174 was a huge overcharge for this very modest (to put it kindly) facility.

Located right off the main road and beside the train tracks, this hotel is loud! Between that, and the evidently old mattress (big dip in the middle) it was tough to get a good nights rest. Place was clean, but overall was pretty disappointed with this “Best Western”

I wish there were more themed hotels around the country. This was just cool! ||The room was clean and comfortable. It wasn't like we were sleeping on a Spaceship or anything but I liked the vibe. Instead of the generic pictures of the area or photos of trees and mountains that most hotels put on the wall, this place has pictures of Space Shuttles and rockets. There's also the cool lobby and the connected space themed restaurant which was pretty good as well.||I'd totally stay here again if I was ever in the area.
