We booked this hotel for my wife’s work trip, and pictures online seemed great and 4.1 out of 5 on google. We arrived the costumer service is great cannot say anything bad about it. Now it says renovation which they need to hurry because
The current rooms look like crap. Well at least the room we got which is not in good shape see pictures below, I do hope the future is better after renovation.

Starting with the positive side, the employees were very nice, and if you like Indian food the whole place smelled like it. Unfortunately once we got to our room the smell of Indian food was replaced with the smell of mold/mildew. Come to find out the bottom of the pull out bed was covered in mold. The mattress on the pull out bed was pathetic, more springs than mattress it was in desperate need of replacement. The main bed wasn’t much better, we tossed and turned all night trying to get comfortable and woke up sore all over. The toilet wouldn’t flush and was leaking from around the seal at the floor. The bathroom door wouldn’t even close. Just overall disappointed and disgusted at this hotel. Save yourself the pain and discomfort and stay somewhere else!

we enjoyed the new pool, had a great stay the beds were comfortable, very clean rooms, they are renovating this place. did not bother us at all. we always come to decatur and everytime we stay here as the prices are fair and comes with good breakfast options.

I really hate giving low ratings because people aren’t always kind, but honestly, we will not return to this hotel ever. It looks cute on the outside but the inside is old, dirty, and mismanaged. There were holes in the carpets and trash cans out collecting leaking rain water from ceilings (and the trash cans were never checked on). Our room was dimly lit with old fixtures. The bathroom shower had little water pressure and the water didn’t drain well while showering. Nothing was fresh, bright, or pleasant. The carpets felt sticky in the room and things just needed to be updated. They are doing work on the hotel, but it’s going to take a lot! They had us in the area where they were doing all the work on the windows for the entire week we were there, which was unfortunate. Breakfast was minimal compared to others (including all Best Westerns we’ve ever used). We love Best Westerns! I felt badly when checking out because I was asked if everything was okay. But honestly, no, for the money that it costs to stay, it was not a good visit at all. Just a rundown hotel. I hope they can make things better and put a little brightness to the place (and take down the Christmas wreath at the door - it was July).

very clean and safe place to stay. we enjoyed the newly renovated pool, looks like they are going through renovations. Overall a wonderful stay. Logans roadhouse next door was walking distance and had good food. we enjoyed staying here and will be back next time.

ROOMS ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!!
Called to get the rate for a single room and was told $212.00 but went online and got it booked for $120 & when checking in we paid the customary $100 deposit; upon entering the room there was a stale smell throughout and the carpet did not feel clean, there were hairs on the bed, the shower head had visible mold, rocked back and forth and the tub filled while showering; when checking out we were assured our deposit would be put back on our card immediately but never was (currently in dispute with home office). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it's severely overpriced and in desperate need of a rehab/makeover. Before we left, the front desk agent repeatedly asked us to give them a good review (tacky), but I now see why...don't waste your time and money, we recently checked out of a 60 dollar hotel (Sleep Inn) that was two times better than BW in Decatur

I loved the pillows in the room, had a great breakfast with lots to choose from. Enjoyed the newly renovated pool and also like the Logans roadhouse restaurant next door which is just walking distance. I love to stay here whenever i am in decatur.

the pool was very clean and we enjoyed very much. i always come and stay here whenever in decatur alabama. the logans next door gives 15% off and very good eats there. Even the downtown has a bunch of good eateries the pizza place is great also with lots to choose from.
