Positive: The staff at the front was very nice. Negative: I was blow drying my hair & didn?t realize there was no back on the dryer. My hair got sucked into it, it was awful. There was also a leak under the bathroom sink w water everywhere. I did talk to the front desk, nothing was done.

Let me start by saying the staff makes a hotel great. Tammy and the rest of the staff are friendly, funny and very helpful. It was my moms birthday and the staff did everything in their power to celebrate her day. The hotel is located next to the casino but it's still a nice walk. There is no shuttle to the casino. The rooms were clean and the area was quiet. Overall I will definitely stay here again, if I'm in the area to visit my new family members (Tammy, etc) at Best Western.

We had a very unique experience and that staff handled it with ease: We just left Dallas with our four week old grandson who was just released from the NICU and needed a place to give him his breakfast and a short rest. They didn’t even hesitate when we asked for some space in the room where they serve their complimentary breakfast. 10 stars!

This hotel is very conveniently located right next door to WinStar. Great location!
The carpet in our room was filthy. I don't think it had ever been vacuumed. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Do not recommend.
Charged with $500 misc charge
When I contacted them they tell me we had smoked in the room.
WE REQUESTED A NON SMOKING ROOM!
The manager refused to talk with me about the issue and was rude from the start of the conversation. I was calm and was not upset or being hateful but trying to figure out why she said we smoked in the room because me nor my friend smoke cigarettes. We have our medical marijuana cards but we had gone out to the car to smoke and we had thrown a cup with a roach in the trash can in our room, which she says was clear sign that we had smoked in the room. Our fire alarm went off a few hours before checkout and we didn't know why but it turned off immediately and that was the end of that. Nobody told me that because the alarm went off as has been charged with $500 fee. The lack of effort put forth shows me the shady intentions the management carried out. She said they had picture of evidence and I requested the pictures sent to my email... She refused to send anything.. when I asked if the room had smelled of smoke she told me she didn't go up there herself. She mentioned as part of the evidence that the room was littered with ashes, which I know is untrue because I make sure to clean up any and every mess, trash, cans, junk paper and other things to make it easier on the housekeeping. I even washed off the counter tops and tables in the room of crumbs we had left from breakfast.
Her aggressive and uncooperative nature is what sits wrong with me the most. I could of called yelling because of the charge instead of being kind and trying to figure out why it was there. It's one thing that if we had actually smoked in the room but the fact we went above and beyond to be respectful and follow the rules seems to have made no difference in the conduct of their business. She is strictly assuming, without being able to provide evidence beyond reasonable doubt or of any damages caused by her accusations.

A persons trash is not an indication smoking in the room. We brought the cup of ashes and roach with us when we got out of the car.
A smoke alarm going off is not an indicatiin that the person is smoking in the room. Smoke alarms go off for many reasons and also tend to commonly have false alarms from things like steam or moisture in the air.

You assuming someone smoked without actually having any reason to show fault such as damages is not okày. Refusing to talk with a customer and being rude or irrational is not okay.
When you charge a customer with fees such as this one.. you should disclose that information to the guest upon checkout. Not just let them leave without knowing there will be DOUBLE THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT OF THE AGREED PRICE coming out of their bank account.

The front desk staff are wonderful, the bed comfortable, downhill from there! We were there two years ago and it was very nice. This time, the room needs a good dusting, bulbs out, coffee maker broken, direct tv box had to be unplugged and plugged in three different times in two days, body wash empty, something was spilled all down the bathroom door and not cleaned up……

Love staying at this hotel when seeing concerts at Windstar. I have stayed here with family and friends. Stay has always been good. Clean rooms, good breakfast and decorated nicely. I would recommend and plan on visiting again soon. Now that I am retired I plan on staying at more Best Westerns...
