Better than expected. Rooms/Hotel is a bit dated, BUT it was clean and comfortable. Staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I do not usually eat hotel breakfast but ate her 3/8 mornings, offerings were hot, fresh and delicious.

We spent 7 nights here while in town for a softball tournament. Rooms were clean but smelled bad. Air conditioner worked but room constantly felt damp; sheets, pillows and clothes always felt slightly damp and musty. We changed rooms and while the 2nd room smelled better, air was still heavy, damp and musty. Staff was excellent though! Breakfast was as expected, with a mix of pastries, cereals, and hot bar items. Hot bar items were made fresh in the kitchen and restocked quickly. Front desk staff was very accommodating, even washing laundry for us! While many would’ve been annoyed with lots of young kids running around, this staff was welcoming and truly seemed to enjoy having us.

We stay here every year and we've never had a bad experience. Everyone is always very nice. They go out of their way to accommodate your every need. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. The hotel has been well maintained, inside and out.

For the most part the hotel is clean. Front desk and breakfast staff very friendly. Our only complaint “as others have stated “ is the room was musty. The air unit was filthy even though the room was generally clean. We wiped the air filters and the other parts we could with Clorox wipes and that helped some. Put dryer sheets on it and that helped more. The front desk person told they would clean and spray the filters but the system needs a deep cleaning not just sprayed.

The Best Western Plus in Russellville, Alabama is a wonderful place to stay. They had a great breakfast every day and because my brother in law joked about wanting biscuits and gravy, the employee actually went in the kitchen and made him some! Donna works the front desk and was the best hotel clerk I’ve ever encountered. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. She felt like family by the time we left. I’ll stay here anytime I’m in the area and hope Donna is still there.

This hotel was very very good. The breakfast was great. The room was clean. And the price was good.
For me personally ( and just me) the smell of the cleaning solution for the elevators and such was very strong and it was hard for me physically.
Other than that we had an enjoyable time.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 different times (total of 5 days) over the past month and have no bad experiences. The breakfast bar was good, rooms clean, everything worked, and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The coffee station in the lobby is wonderful. In fact, I stay in hotels all across North Alabama at least 12 to 15 nights per month. This one, I have to rate one of the best! It is my hotel of choice for this area.

I traveled to Alabama from Missouri to put flowers on my grandparents grave and visit my birthplace in Sheffield at Helen Keller Memorial Hospital. I love staying at Best Western and this was an awesome experience with Jacuzzi tub in our room, an outdoor pool, and wonderful breakfast. I will be back!
