We stayed 3 nights here as part of our Redwoods trip. It is a great location to explore the Redwoods National and State Parks. The hotel was wonderful! The staff was amazing- so friendly and helpful. The free buffet breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations and the beds were very comfortable! The hotel was also very, very clean. Everyday we saw the housekeeping team cleaning the elevators, wiping down the vending machines, mopping the floors in the common areas. You can tell the entire staff takes pride in their jobs and this hotel. The Koi Pond and garden area was very peaceful. The pools were nice although we did not get in them (it was too chilly for these Georgia folks!) I highly recommend this hotel if staying Eureka!

Riley was the evening shift clerk--he was wonderful! Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable. This hotel is very pretty. We didn't use the pool or the hot tub, but the koi pond and plantings in the middle courtyard are gorgeous, and very serene. Some of the rooms have a view of the bay which is nearby. There's also a bike trail within a block, and lots of restaurant options. Our wonderful clerk Riley recommended a place called the AA Bar and Grill for dinner. It's a little hole in the wall with the best steak I've eaten in years, and very nice staff. Would definitely recommend you check it out if you're staying in Eureka or the area. The free breakfast was nice, with many options, including eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, as well as the usual pastries and a waffle maker.

Beautiful hitel and location. Our water view room had patio and seating, newly renovated and Beautiful room and hotel. Nice gym. No breakfast but great recommendations for our dinner and breakfast. Great staff. Comfortable beds. Tv is firestick so didn't access our favorite HGTV. Highly recommend this hotel. Would absolutely stay again if we traveled to this area.

Such a nice little diamond in the rough! The parking lot was a little tricky to navigate at first. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with a large closet, TV, microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. The citrus bathroom toiltetries smell amazing!! Our room had a jacuzzi tub with jets that was the perfect end after a long day of hiking trails. Outside are multiple vending machines for snacks and drinks, and the front office serves free breakfast until 10am, including yogurt, cereal, sausage, scrambled eggs, and a make-your-own-waffles station! I'd absolutely come here again!

Best experience in a hotel. Staff was amazing, Very clean rooms, quiet. They provide breakfast every morning which was amazing. Price was great. All around I think this place deserves morr then 5 stars. I would rate 10 out of 10. I most definitely will be back and I highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and the grounds are lovely!
Highly recommend requesting a 3rd floor room with a view of the bay! Even better if you request that room to be a jacuzzi tub room!
I will continue to recommend this hotel to friends and family when they are in Eureka!

Positive: Very friendly staff, beautiful garden, better than average breakfast options, nice exercise room Negative: The room smelled- seemed like the carpet had gotten wet awhile ago and never dried properly. No one seemed to be maintaining the pool and hot tub so the water quality was suspect. People were partying in the hot tub outside our room til 3 a.m.

Used this hotel for a stay while we visited the Redwoods. The location is convenient and overall good! The rooms do seem dated, but they were well maintained and clean! The complimentary breakfast was actually good, and they even had waffle makers. The customer service from the employees is outstanding, which typically makes or breaks the experiences for me. This place has my recommendation if you need a place to stay overnight.
