This room was like a crime scene, nightmare, and health hazard. Sheets and pillows full of rips and moth-eaten holes, disgusting stains. Asked for newly washed ones, received more of the same. Toilet seat broken off, sitting on floor. Dirt streaks and black handprints on the walls and door. Floor completely blackened my feet in moments. Lock busted, already felt unsafe. No light except the bathroom. Call the health department.

This was the most disgusting hotel room I've ever stayed in. Within 30 minutes of checking in I had to go to the front desk on three separate occasions to ask for toilet paper, then drinking cups, then the wifi password. The room was very dirty, even the towels were dirty and of the cheapest quality. The bed mattresses were very cheap and uncomfortable and didn't have a mattress pad. There were very sketchy people loitering outside, and the place just didn't feel safe in general. I ended up having to check out and booked a room on Priceline for the Red Lion Inn three miles up the highway in Saraland. Best decision I've ever made. High quality and professional accommodations there for only $17 more. Safe indoor access and very clean. Don't even think about staying at M Star. Such a disgusting pit!!

The room was pretty shabby and the decor very outdated. The room smelled of smoke and mildew plus dirt and dust in the corners. However, we felt lucky to find anything available that night and the location was perfect to visit family and friends during the celebration. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy. The room was stocked with one towel 2 wash clothes and no bath mat. In addition, there were no vending machines, ice machine or anything restaurants or near the hotel.

The room smelled of smoke. The shower curtain was molded there was no trash can in the room. Couldn't get the tv to go off. The water was brown the front desk attendant was rude and didn't know anything. Then asked if I called to report. No matter how tired you are this place is not worth it. You get what you pay for but it shouldn't be a dump. Never will I stay again nor will I recommend anyone here. Even of you are on a budget.

Horrible beds...springs sticking out...uncomfortable and rooms all smell like smoke and mold. I get that it's cheap, but save your money and go a little farther down the road. I can't find one thing that would redeem this place.
