The cabins are small but they have absolutely EVERYTHING you might need. I had a 4-legged overnight guest and the doggie door was perfect, along with the doggie dishes, towels and treats. I suggest the cabins for one person. Nice table and chairs outside too, to enjoy the beautiful weather. Best Friends is the greatest!

100% recommend staying in the cottages if you are visiting the sanctuary or are just in the area. We stayed at Cottage 6 and it had a full kitchen, a large living room with a sofa and recliner, a bedroom with two beds, and a giant bathroom. There was also a patio with a lovely view of the hills and the horse pens. We hosted a lovely cat, Dolemite, for a sleepover which was the best part of our stay!

We just returned from a 3-night stay in a Cottage at the Sanctuary, where we also spent a few days volunteering. It was a perfect place for us - we went into Kanab to get groceries and then had breakfast and dinner at "home", and enjoyed lunch each day at the Angel Village Cafe. ||The cottage was well-furnished, comfortable and worked great for us. We also did animal sleepovers for two nights, which made it extra fun! Loved being on the Sanctuary property, and we were perfectly comfortable in the A/C while it was 100+ degrees outside.||We are already discussing our next trip and the hiking and sites we will see from our home base at Best Friends. Highly recommend!

We had a great time during our visit to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and stayed in Cabin 9. The best part was the great location and quietness during our stay. Although the cabins are small, there was a lot of thought put into maximizing the space available. Everything we needed was included such as a mini fridge, microwave, Queen sized bed, bathroom with shower, heater, etc. There were also some nice extras such as a lantern flashlight and broom to help keep the floor clean. ||We would have liked to take advantage of the pet sleepover program, but it did not work out with our schedule. Make sure to book a tour and consider volunteering. We were quite impressed with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary!

The cottage was perfectly appointed, with a full kitchen stocked with necessities. The murphy bed is convenient as it doesn't take up the space. If you are bringing a pet home from the sanctuary for an overnight, the cottage comes with a doggy door and its own fenced area! Definitely recommend if you are volunteering for more than one day.

This is an educational and eye opening experience which I would recommend to everybody, especially animal lovers and families with children. |They take such good care of the animals there. The place is extremely clean, not smelly even in the horse area. Visitors can sign up for a tour of the facility. This is hands down tte best animal sanctuary in the country. They train the rescue dogs so that they will become more adoptable. They acclimate dogs which have never been inside a house to normal household noises such as vacuum cleaner and blender noises. Teach them about going through doors and climbing stairs etc. Their medical facilities are first rate. Very impressive place. |They have accommodations on site for visitors and they also have a cafeteria but it serves only vegan food.

First of all, how often does one get a chance to support a great cause and have a great time. By staying at Best Friends, you will be doing just that. Your support will help save so many more animals.||We spent 3 nights at a cottage with our 8 month old puppy. The cottages are big and are a bargain. Become a member for $25 and get discounted room rates.||The cottages have a large living room with kitchen, a large bedroom with 2 full beds and a large bathroom. Also has a balcony overlooking the horses.||Every morning and evening, we had a pack of deer walk down the hillside and hang out just outside the cottage.||The views of the night sky are also spectacular because of the darkness, even better than in some of the National Parks.||The restaurant was closed because of Covid, but it is a short drive into town with many restaurants as well as a large grocery.

This was my second time staying at Best Friends. My husband and I had been here years ago and promised to return. We stayed in a cottage for two nights. We volunteered with the rabbits for one afternoon and we also had rabbits for sleep-overs both nights we were there. Best Friends is such a magical place in the middle of Angel Canyon. The cottages are right by the horses so you get to see them all the time. Go for a leisurely stroll to visit the goats, mules and pigs. Take the tour and see the dog and cat compounds and DO NOT miss a visit to Angel's Rest. You can even go for hikes in the Canyon. They have a vegetarian lunch buffet everyday for $5 and they also have vegan BBQ's, such good food! Everyone is so nice and accommodating and you really feel like you're at home. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!
