Honestly a great place, service was prompt and extremely nice and the food was amazing. I had the pomegranate margarita while my wife had the apricot old fashioned. My wife had the frutti di mare while I had the steak risotto.

The Fruti was extremely good nice flavors a and a good combination of types of seafood. The steak mushroom risotto in my opinion really shined. Very tender and a great cut of meat that paired extremely well with the risotto.

We finished it up with a daily dessert special of a Cannoli cheesecake that was probably one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had at a restaurant.

Great place and worth a try. Definitely recommend a reservation as they are smaller and you can't guarantee availability if you do a walk-in depending on the day.

First I'd like to say, we often refer people to Bella Mia (and all sister restaurants) when someone is looking for great authentic and fresh food. However, last night we brought my mom for her birthday and the food was not at the normal level of excellence. Most in our party of six were satisfied, but none were overly impressed. The flatbreads were good, the steak/risotto my husband had was great. My chicken alfredo was inedible...overcooked pasta, bland sauce and I'm not sure what was going on with the chicken but I couldn't even cut it with a knife! It was tough and rubbery and was NOT fresh at all! The waitress tried to be attentive, but was apparently spread pretty thin and didn't hit the mark. I will also say this, we always tip well, but appreciate an opportunity to tip as we see fit based on food/service. We were not given an option as the tip is automatically charged (we all billed separately). Overall disappointed with this visit.

A cozy little location in Richmond Hill GA. We were able to get a seat when they opened at 5, but I recommend making reservations. I think we were more the exception since we walked in at the opening. Service was a little slow. It did get better. My wife had the Shrimp Scampi and I had Sausage Arrabbiata. Wife felt the Scampi was ok. I definitely was more impressed by the Sausage Arrabbiata. Nice flavor and right amount of spice. Drinks were excellent. We had the Strawberry Basil Smash and the Sicilian Sunset. Homemade bread was good too. Make a reservation and decide for yourself.

Well, it's official..they did it again! This is actually the 2nd time I've eaten here, and let me tell you, I am just as satisfied now as I was before. Maybe even more 🤔. The 1st time here I was famished and that might have swayed my review. So in all fairness, we decided to hit them up again. Sooo glad we did 😋
This unassuming, hidden gem of a restaurant, sits tucked away on Ford Ave (Hwy 144) in Richmond Hill, GA. About a 20-25 min ride from Savannah, obviously depending on your location. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan dinner, and the wife ordered the Shrimp Alfredo with added chicken. Their prices were fairly reasonable. Our dinner of 2 entries and appetizers was less than $100, and this included tip. As far as portions go, I'll just say, come with a hefty appetite. Bella Mia also has a bar inside for those looking to combine a quiet"night out on the town" with fine Italian cuisine.
I definitely can't forget about the service. Our server Jessica was simply wonderful. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of our server we had the last time, but we did remember the hospitality.
Soo glad we decided to come back. Now it's your turn.

Born and raised with my Italian grandparents... with grandma making homemade pasta. I can say without a doubt this place was second to my grandmother's pasta, which is huge to say! It's the most amazing find! Just moved here and not a RH fan but thank goodness for Bella Mia!!! Had the shrimp scampi and wow!! Had slices of fresh garlic!
My boyfriend had the chicken parmigiana and it was the best chicken.. huge and moist and perfectly cooked. I'm utterly impressed to be honest. Anyone to give this less than a great rating had zero idea of fresh Italian food.

The food was all very good. Deliciously cooked and seemed very fresh. The drinks were delicious but seemed to have a very small amount of alcohol. The waitresses were very nice and accommodating but they were extremely busy. I think there were only 2 for the whole restaurant so it took a while to get refills on drinks. This was understandable but we were a little put off when we got the check. They automatically added a 22% gratuity. I’m assuming it’s because we had a party of 8 but 22% automatically added seemed a little presumptuous.

Very high end feeling restaurant with quality ingredients. The pastas were delicious. Apparently made in house daily. Servers were very accommodating to some of our guests weird requests for things not on the menu. The cocktails were well made and the service was timely. Paid for 3 meals and was $155 before tip. Excellent place for a dinner date or special occasion.

It was a beautiful restaurant, the lighting was nice and the music made the atmosphere lovely. Our server was nice, too. I loved the drinks we ordered and the dessert was great!

However, for the prices of the main course, I cannot believe that it was an unappetizing as it was. I had the alfredo with chicken added and there were huge slices of hardly cooked / raw garlic that still had that woody, difficult to eat root on it. I know this is a technique, but usually the garlic is fully cleaned, and cooked to some degree of tastey-ness.

I had assumed that the chicken would've been seared, grilled or even fried, but it came and appeared to be boiled? There was no color on the meat, or any flavor. The fresh made pasta had a nice consistency, but it was not good enough to save the dish. We could not even finish because of how frankly bad the sauce was.

My mom has the shrimp scampi, and it was also bland with large slices of raw, under prepped garlic and the shrimp looked and tasted to be simply boiled in plain water ( assumed, given how flavorless it was. ) There was no color and it was, again, just not good — we could not finish, nor did we want to continue eating the dish.

When you're spending that kind of money on a dinner, at least we expect it to be delicious enough to want to clean the plate! Not only could neither one of us finish, but what we did eat made us both fairly sick when we got home :/

If we do go back, it will be for cocktails and dessert. Thank you to the server and the bar tender, the drinks were truely top notch and the best I've had in town.
