Bee on the Brow is the most amazing place I have stayed in a long time. The owners, Pete and Rachel, are such a precious couple and hosts to everyone who is lucky enough to stay here. Their attention to detail is amazing, and we stayed in the Sourwood Suite which was perfect. Breakfast in the mornings were gourmet and absolutely incredible! Pete was so gracious and would top my coffee cup off several times as I meditated on the porch each morning, overlooking the mountains in front of the B&B...which provided a constant reminder of how beautiful our country truly is and how lucky we are to live in the USA! In the afternoons, Mack and I would return from hiking the trails, visiting Howard Chapel, Tiger Lily in Fort Payne, or the Canyon that are within a few miles from the Bee on the Brow and find freshly baked cookies, brownies, or a pecan pie-all still warm from the oven! What a treat! The B&B is warm, cozy, and beautiful. We met several other couples from different areas of the country that were so fun, kind, and they appreciated the beauty of this B&B as well. I highly recommend staying at the Bee on the Brow if you are in this area. Mack and I cannot wait to return and bring friends with us so they too can experience this lovely place! We just returned from another wonderful week at Bee on the Brow. Those of you who have visited "The Bee" know exactly how we feel.
By the end of a vacation, you are typically ready to be home. This was not the case for us. We were sad to leave.
There are many activities in and around Mentone, including but not limited to hiking, cycling, viewing beautiful rock formations and waterfalls and dining at quaint restaurants and eateries. However, we could not wait to get back to "The Bee" with the amazing hospitality of Rachel and Pete, and the peaceful setting on the spacious deck, overlooking the valley.
There are always fresh baked goods and hot coffee / tea awaiting.
And then, there are the gourmet breakfasts!
We cannot wait to return and encourage all to do yourselves a favor and unwind at Bee on the Brow.

We had the most wonderful anniversary weekend at Bee on the Brow! Pete and Rachel are such gracious hosts, the house is gorgeous, and the view is breathtaking. Our first morning there we were able to have breakfast on the back deck because we were the only guests. The breakfasts were gourmet meals and they were absolutely delicious. There were a couple of cafes in town that we thought about checking out for lunch but we were too full from breakfast. We stayed in the Hawthorn suite which was comfortable and has a window seat with a great view of the mountains. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Bee on the Brow and I highly recommend them. I also recommend seeing the nearby waterfalls (Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon waterfall) and taking the scenic drive along the Canyon's edge.

Bee on the Brow were so welcoming, their home was decorated so lovely too. We really enjoyed our room, the bed was so comfy & the bathroom was amazing too. So much detail went into our stay. In our room there was even a water filled container with cups, charging cords, robes in the closet, variety of soaps in the bathroom & plenty of towels. I loved that we had a seating area also. There was also common area's for Guests to use. We especially liked sitting on the back deck, it was a beautiful view & loved the amazing Sunsets. There was also complimentary snacks & drinks, along with some kind of sweets for the evening. If you forgot anything, they had a basket you could borrow items, like an umbrella. Now the Breakfast was Amazing, Rachel is a Wonderful Cook. My favorite was the Peach Pecan Brioche. It was fun to try new things that I have never had before. If we are ever in the Mentone Area again, We would definitely come back. Thank you Pete & Rachel for such a Wonderful Visit!

Our family stayed at Bee on the Brow for two nights, a beautiful house with multiple suites. We arrived after dark and check-in was smooth. Our morning coffee on the deck was enhanced by a breathtaking view of the valley, with some clouds passing through the valley floor. Breakfast on both days was a fantastic menu with sweet and savory options accompanied by Bee on the Brow's own coffee blend. The hosts were prompt, courteous, and attentive. Clearly, their purpose is to operate this B&B.

Rachel and Pete made our stay as delightful and relaxing as possible. Their property is beautiful and everything was immaculate. The breakfast was outstanding and we loved all the little details. They provided great recommendations for things to see while we were there. I would highly recommend Bee on the Brow if you’re looking for a great place to stay!

Bee on the Brow has become our happy place to relax, commune with nature and just unwind.|There are so many things to do in the area, should you choose to do them. |Hiking, cycling, Local shops and eateries.|And then, there are the waterfalls.|Little River Canyon Falls and DeSoto Falls are a must see.|Your day will end on the rear deck of The Bee viewing the valley far below and the mountains in the distance.|Sunsets there are always spectacular. |We cannot wait for our next visit, coming in March.

Pete and Rachel made sure we had an amazing, relaxing, breathtaking experience and provided great service. The view was beautiful and the gourmet breakfast was amazing.
