Well, it is a no frills kinda place. The entrance is awesome. The rooms are fine nothing special. With all the storms lately WiFi is down, there is absolutely no internet around. I had to run out in town to make calls and emails. If you want a laid back place, great view, quiet. This is the place. The deer will walk up to you. They like pop tarts 🤗

During the snowstorm, we were fortunate to find this place and stay for two nights. It was the best experience—so welcoming and cozy. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. My family and I are truly grateful. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

I have waited a LONG time to stay at this property due to the prices of the "million-dollar cabins" but the lodge has usually been booked. Well, late March was our chance, and we took it! The senior discount made our stay very reasonable especially compared to the local cabin rentals. The architecture of the lodge is five star and right on the lake. The state did an outstanding job designing the upstairs deck, sitting/dining area with windows and the downstairs lake view patio lined with Adirondack chairs. There is also a gas fired "fire pit" but it was not on during our stay. Was really not cold enough anyway. The view from our lake view room was hypnotizing. One of, in my opinion, top two lakes in the state. Broken Bow Lake should be the standard for manmade lakes. Clean and clear! The only complaint and I did not ding them on my star rating, is the elevator was out of order. C'mon OK, a property designed with multiple levels needs a working elevator. Honestly, if I had to crawl up and down the stairs it would be worth the view. Also know, there are no amenities beyond the view. No pool, hot tub or dining/bar other than a continental breakfast. There is a very functional boat ramp but with parking but no dock. The property is close enough to a ton of great restaurants or bring what you want to eat and drink in your room.

Absolutely gorgeous view of the lake and the beautiful trees the surround the property. The Lodge has many places to sit and enjoy the peaceful views. Breakfast was prepackaged items but the coffee was wonderful and they had creamer! I soaked up the views of the changing leaves in the trees. It is a really nice place and close to town.

Lakeview lodge on arriving looked perfect and it is a beautiful lodge. On entering we were met with an awful smell of sewage and the cabin was freezing cold. The underfloor heating wasn’t working although the radiators in the bathroom were. I sat in padded winter coat from 4pm to 9pm as it took this long to get from 15 to 19 degrees even with the log fire burning.||The smell was horrendous we messaged the manager and he came over the next morning. Neither of us slept at all due to the smell which he said was the dishwasher, it definitely wasn’t as the smell was coming from the plant room in the toilet.||He installed a new part on the boiler and gave us some spray for the smell. The underfloor heating did come on but the towel rails now didn’t work so we couldn’t dry our towels. None of the fans worked in the bathrooms.||The heating failed again the next day the manager again reset it and gave us more logs for the fire as we had to keep it going all day, but of course it went out when we went out to eat, which we did every day because the smell made us feel sick and so didn’t eat in the lodge.||We had a horrible time and on complaining were told we could have £100 refund as we didn’t go home, if we had gone home they would probably have said that we didn’t give the staff chance to rectify the problems. ||This was a break for my husbands birthday, I will never go there again

Fantastic place! The room was clean and cute. The whole place was beautiful, the dining area and deck area out back where you can sit and look over the lake. The rooms have lake views, and it was gorgeous. Will definitely be back!

Destroyed so many trees and leveled the beautiful land it was built on. The deer and other wildlife have even less land to live on. Very sad.
