We ordered six different dishes hoping for at least one standout, but unfortunately none were good enough to finish. Flavorless, lukewarm, and surprisingly bland across the board. To make matters worse, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, staff hesitated to move us from a bright, dead-center table to a more comfortable spot off to the side. Service was polite but rigid, and the overall experience felt out of sync with expectations

Ordered (among other things) the coconut shrimp and boy howdy was it burnt. Server took it back, she was great. Kitchen sent it back out to us and said it, in fact, was not burnt and "that's just the oil we cook it in". I don't think so. If it tastes burnt and looks burnt then it is burnt, it doesn't really matter what method of cooking you're using or what oil you're using, the only thing that matters when it comes to food and food service is the taste and appearance, typically in that order.

We were later informed that the new oil they use, and I quote, "just makes the food look like that when it comes close to time to change it out". Ah, so it's old oil then? Well in that case you should change it out before you give a customer burnt food, not after you've done it and they've complained. We didn't eat the burnt shrimp and, thankfully, didn't pay for them either. That was due to our awesome server, however.

The rest of the meal was mid. Chicken breasts were served on a bed of rice that wasn't mentioned in the menu description (a common practice to make portions look bigger than they are) and were butterflied, which makes me glad we ordered the "full" instead of the "half" because it wouldn't have been enough food otherwise. Taste was alright but nothing you couldn't get at a diner chain. Server was very busy but also very accommodating and stayed on top of our drinks and requests well.

All in all it was a pretty disappointing experience. Sad because I love everything else in this little strip (chocolate shop and pizza place), but with the way the kitchen handled our only fried food and the taste/portion issues I wouldn't advise coming here.

Great prices, big portions, super friendly staff and family friendly environment. I ordered the Ultimate burger which was surprisingly great! Would definitely recommend!

It's a cute little place. But it felt like a small little bubble. The floors were grimy. You should definitely look into getting that carpet torn out. It's kind of gross. Also if I'm going to a cute little hunting lodge like that I don't want to be hearing the crap pop music that I hear when I turn on the car radio. The music was a little loud and it was very annoying and distracting. You need to put something a little more calm or perhaps a little more nostalgic. The food wasn't that impressive. You could have included a vegetable with the country fried chicken steak. Not just a potato and a piece of breaded meat. The pot pie wasn't bad but the flavor was overwhelming with packaged brown gravy and it just tasted like a package of brown gravy. The decoration was okay but everything seemed crowded and not inviting. The bathrooms however were very clean and well kept. The waitress was very friendly. And the food came fast. Would I come back? Probably not.

I enjoy coming here for the past many years for the ambiance. It has a 70’s, 80’s feel to it. Their breakfast is the basic and good. The lunch and dinner food is typical.. It appears to be cooked frozen food instead of freshly prepared. The taste is ordinary, but good. The croissant sandwich was ok, the croissant didn’t taste or feel fresh. The burgers appear to be cooked frozen Pattie’s with nothing particular about them. Food is ok, the experience is great.

I wouldn’t eat here again.
Dingy little place, the food was very mediocre but more expensive than most places in Bear Lake. Very dusty dining area and disgusting bathrooms.
The staff were friendly but very rushed.
I saw them ask another diner if he needed more time to look at the menu and he had literally just sat down, and was still taking his backpack off, he didn’t even have a chance to glance at the menu yet.
I also noticed all the staff nonchalantly walking into the kitchen and coming out snacking repeatedly and most were very unkempt.
Paid over $80 dollars to feed my family and no one was satisfied with what they ordered.
🤷🏼‍♂️

This is a fun restaurant to go to, but the for was just okay. Nothing to rave about. The fries were not my favorite and the lemonade was a little bland.

I got The Ultimate Burger and it was delcious. I got my side as tater tots and they had the perfect crunch. The complementary rolls and butter and raspberry jam was delcious. Also tried the fries and they were so yummy. Will be a new go to place for me in Garden City!!
