I've been here 3 times at this point. Only 1/3 were outstanding! Everything was perfect and delicious on our first visit. The second visit wasn't too bad, but they were out of sausage, and our food was a little dry. It was a little late in the evening, so I overlooked it. On the third visit, it was the middle of the day. We ordered and paid, only to then be told they were completely out of sausage, AGAIN. We opted for a refund and left. I guess if I'm going back, I'll call before time to see if they're out of anything. *Photo is from the first visit.

Awesome BBQ! You gotta eat here!
I stopped by their new location today and it is the same great BBQ as their old location. Only the new place has many tables to eat at and he has some great servers ready to take your order and will bring it out to you. Servings are large and sure to fill you up. The greens, potato salad and baked beans were excellent tasting. The ribs are so good that no sauce is needed. The chopped pork was so d@#& good I could cry. The brisket is criminally good. I felt I should be arrested for eating something that good. Yeah, you have too eat REAL REALLY GOOD BBQ here. This is made with LOVE! Highly recommend.

Stopped in from Ozark AL and I found food as good as it always has been. Great service and best BBQ around!
I still recommend highly.

Amazing experience! Service was great, location was clean and condiments/silverware and additional items are available in all areas. Food is made to order, plates precisely with what we orders, very generous portions and very appealing look. The taste and quality of the food is probably the highest we have found in the southern area. Don’t really need any condiments or sauces with such delicious taste of everything. Highly recommend!

My husband and I moved here a month ago and have tried 3 other bbq places, but BBQ Haven has been the best! The people were very kind and friendly. Prices were perfect. The brisket was tender and juicy and melts in your mouth. Great smokey flavor. And the baked mac n cheese was amazing. The screened in patio with the fans was relaxing and cool. It was a great lunch! We're definitely going to be back.

Updated review: I've been to the new location now. It's definitely an upgrade, plenty of room to sit, and eat. That's the end of the nice things to say. $80 for a family of 3 to eat crazily over salted brisket? I don't see us returning. Everything other than the brisket was pretty good, but there is plenty of good food around, and many at a better value.

Original review: Decent food, at a decent price. Not really a sit down kinda place, too small, and nobody wants to sit outside in the heat. It's not the best around, but the BBQ potatoes are decent. The chili dog has that weird concession stand meat sauce stuff, not the good chili. The chopped pork sandwich is OK. The Mac and cheese is actually pretty good. All in all, it'll do the job.

The best smoked brisket.

I've been searching for a good smoked brisket in this area for several years now. BBQ Haven nailed it.

I drove 30 minutes to pick up dinner for two from BBQ Haven. I was greeted by the very nice owner. You can tell he takes pride in his restaurant. Once there, I ordered sliced brisket, potato salad, mac n cheese, a side of baked beans, a piece of chocolate cake, a piece of cinnamon cake (maybe coffee cake), and 4 buns. It was all wonderful. The smoked brisket was perfect. The baked beans and mac n cheese tasted gourmet. The potato salad was right on. And the cake pieces topped it all off wonderfully. Less than $50 and my husband and I are having it again for dinner tonight.

I'm looking forward to more visits for my smoked brisket fix. They don't have to wait for Texas trips now.

It may have just been a bad day or time, considering the other reviews are good. The brisket was extremely salty and pool belly burnt ends cup was half grease.
