The aesthetics of the hotel scream "I have given up!" First, my room reeked of cigarette smoke. One of the drawers in my room had been broken and replaced by a different colored drawer of a different size that stuck out approximately 4 inches causing a safety hazard. In one of the stairways I noticed a broken window that had been pieced together with tape. In the lobby, some of the wall lettering decorations had fallen off and no one had taken the time to replace them. Tape remained on several areas within the building where painting had been done at some point, but the painter's tape not removed. Then, I turned on my TV shortly after arrival to find the screen was cracked & broken. When I turned this into the front desk shortly after my arrival, the clerk seemed unsure of what to do. I asked if he had any additional rooms & he did assign me to a new room. The new room had a heating and air conditioning system where the digital display was broken, so it was unusable and unable to adjust. Pawn checking out I asked the clerk if she would be willing to comp one of my three nights and she indicated she didn't have the authority to do that and stated the manager was out of town.

December 12 I stayed in the hotel for one night. The first floor smelt like mold. It’s as if they had some water issues and had flooding as a result. Which you could see from my photos. Since I was only gonna be there for a few hours and get it very early to continue to drive to Texas. I decided to tough it out.
But in the middle of the night, I was walking into people in the hallway, talking and packing up and leaving.
A man said , “ sorry son, but we’ve gotta go. My wife can’t do it anymore. We don’t want a refund we just wanna leave.”
The hotel worker said, “ what’s going on?”
And the man said , “ we’ve got two squirrels in our room”
And the worker said , “AGAIN?!?”
This was followed by a lot of talk. It was about 2 AM. I needed to be up at 6 AM to leave. And with all the issues in my room, I didn’t even feel good about getting under the covers. This place was gross. I wouldn’t stay. I’m writing the review months later because I’m still talking about how terrible it is.
Take a look at the photos and you’ll see how much mold was all over the walls of the unit.

Had to switch rooms the tv didn’t work in the first and in the second room the fire alarm battery low beep and the toilet did not work at all. No water no flush. The staff at night was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is just older and needs fixing and renovations.

The rate is usually in the $80 range which would have been perfect. However, we were charged $150 because there was a convention in town. Oh, the room was pretty good but the shampoo was awful! The lobby could be rearranged/redone (it looks and feels cramped and closed off).

If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO HOME WOTH BED BUGS AND ROACHES! I had 2 rooms and both were terrible. In one room there was a roach in the bathroom and ants crawling around the air conditioning unit and the window seal. In the other room, there was a bed bug in the bed the next morning. The tub was filthy, and these are the rooms we stayed in. The first few rooms I looked at had a musty smell to it. I tried to get a refund before even checking in and was met with resistance and a flat out no! So I had no option but to stay. After seeing the bed bug, I hurried up and packed up all of our belongings, thank God I never sat my suitcase or clothes on the bed, and went to check out. Still told no refunds bc we chose to stay and if we weren’t satisfied, we should’ve left the same night we checked in. Even though, again, we were told no refund!! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES! LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE REAL THING!

Hotel was a bit run down but no weird smell which is good. The bathtub had hair in it and the AC didn’t work well but the rest of the room was clean. The indoor pool wasn't heated so it was impossible to use in the month of December (which was a BIG disappointment to our kiddos). The front desk service was ok. Overall 3 stars.

Positive: The location Negative: The room had an odor, rust on the doors, banging coming from the room above me and the front desk personal would not change the room without an upcharge. Overall, I thought the room was disgusting. I checked out the next day to go stay at Comfort Inn.

Positive: ? The room was better than the hallways.? Check-in and Check-Out was fairly quick. Negative: ? Hallways had crumbling walls near bottom, peeling wallpaper,and dirty, torn carpet.?The room had little to no water pressure.?Breakfast was laughable.?Both keycards stopped working before checkout.?The pool room door was rusting around the window.
