We recently stayed at this hotel and while there were some positives, there were also significant drawbacks. On the plus side, the location is excellent, offering great convenience to Savannah’s attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming. . Additionally, the bed was comfortable.

However, the hotel itself is in need of some serious attention. It feels quite dated, and there were several areas that seemed to be lacking in maintenance and care. The cleanliness was another issue, which was concerning. The overall state of the hotel didn’t live up to the standards we expected from a Wyndham property. We were hesitant to eat the breakfast due to the unclean environment, which left us with little confidence in the hotel’s hygiene practices.

In summary, while the hotel offers a great location, comfortable beds, and friendly staff, the dated condition, maintenance issues, and cleanliness concerns are significant downsides. It didn’t meet the expectations we had for a Wyndham hotel.

Staff was rude when we called to see if they had adjoining rooms. They automatically said no, which wasn’t true. Instead of getting adjoining rooms with our friends, who were also there we got stuck next to drunk people who kept us up all night long. We called the front desk and they did nothing. The window in our room, which was on the first floor ground level was broken. It looked like someone broke the glass and tried to break in before they covered it with a piece of plastic. There’s no bathrooms in the lobby to use. Breakfast was OK, but there’s not a lot of room For a lot of People to eat. The pool looked green that tub and sink drains in our room were clogged. I do not recommend staying here at all not worth your money. It’s not in the best area of town either

The rooms were very spacious and large. It fit my family nicely with ample space for our family, their luggage, and service dogs. The sofa turned into a bed and it was large enough for 2 of necessary. It's pet friendly. Breakfast was complementary. There wasn't a lot but it was tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful each time we requested assistance. Overall a great stay and great find.

I recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham in Pooler/Savannah and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The hotel was in extremely poor condition—dirty carpets, stained floors, and trash scattered throughout the building. My room was no better; the sheets and towels were dirty, the toilet and tub hadn’t been properly cleaned, and I even found long black hairs in the tissue box. The walls and floors were covered in grime, and some electrical sockets were missing covers, which seemed like a safety hazard.

The overall cleanliness issues extended beyond the rooms. The dumpsters were overflowing, the indoor pool had turned green, and the entire hotel had an unpleasant smell.
The one saving grace of this hotel was the staff. Every employee I interacted with was kind, which I truly appreciated. However, no amount of good service can make up for the serious maintenance and cleanliness issues here. I cannot recommend staying at this hotel.

I give it a 1/5 only because 0/5 is not an option. The entire hotel reeked of the aroma of a controlled substance. The rooms were at best spot cleaned. There was mold growing around the sink in the bathroom. I do however have to give props to whomever handles the website pics. They deserve a gig in Hollywood. What was pictured definitely enhanced what was really there

I nearly always leave excellent reviews, but this place was pretty dumpy. Lots of sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot, we didn't really even feel safe. Lots of people sitting in their cars idling for hours. Someone sat in a work truck backed up right near the AC intake to our room pumping diesel in to where it was overwhelming. When I went to complain, the poor desk clerk didn't know what to do, so I finally had to go confront the guy myself. A restful stay it was NOT.

Not what it's shown in the pictures online when I booked. Stains in the bed. The AC kept making noises it was impossible to have a good rest. The fridge didn't work and smells. The freezer area was disgusting. The tub had a huge stain, tiles were cracked in between, and there was a Roach in the bathroom. The pool area was just a incredible disappointment. The water looked greenish and the floor was not clean. It's just not what they presented in the photos when I booked.

The front desk service was very nice. The location was ideal being right off of 95. BUT… the hotel appears old and stinky upon entering. Smelled musty and of some sort of cleaner. There was dirt and mud tracked all over and the breakfast was mediocre at best. I agree with some previous reviews that the pillows were gross the breakfast was tired and the place was just old. The pictures on the website are misleading. Not worth the price, not even close. And why do the amenities say this is beach front? NOT!
