This was probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Wanted a night outside or our semi truck , husband actually went back out to sleep in semi. I understand there was a hurricane but this place should have been closed until probably repaired! Everything had a wet feel to it. The shower had hair on the walls and around the drain, ice machine looked like it had never been cleaned and entire place smelled of mold, tile were also unsecured on bathroom floor. Called for a rate was told $175 looked on Priceline and was listed for $93. We way over payed!! Be warned I’d give 0 stars if I could. Oh and someone tried to get in our room thankfully their key did not work! They said they were told same room number as our room.

When I travel down to Florida my service dog and I stay here over night going to Florida and on our way home. I have never had a problem here. Always nice staff, clean room and linens. To the people complaining recently about the smell and no hot breakfast get over it! They were just through a couple of hurricanes. Be thankful you had a room to lay your head that night. As for a hot breakfast there is Cracker Barrel, McDonalds and Wendy’s. All within walking distance! Thank you to the staff! Oh and I stay here at least every2 months!

UPDATING SINCE THE HOTEL WANTED TO RESPOND! I stayed here October 2024, and just now leaving a review since I’ve had issues after this stay that they are unable to assist with! …Worst hotel ever. Customer service is not helpful to get an item resolved. Phone line keeps getting disconnected by staff due to them not wanting to help. Hotel was dirty and unsanitary. Not worth the money no matter the emergency you may have to find a hotel. I travel for a living and this is an absolute 0/10 hotel.

This hotel and the area sustained damage from Hurricane Helene, yet they were well staffed, kind, helpful, and our room was very clean. Great, safe location. Cracker Barrel is steps away.

Upon arrival we learned that this hotel had just reopened a day earlier due to damages from Hurricane Helene. The place had a musty smell due to flooding but they had humidifiers running all over the place including each room. The room was decent, the bed comfy, great water pressure, larger-sized fridge. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they weren't offering their advertised breakfast which was the MAIN reason we choose this place. Although the hotel was very communicative throughout, they failed to mention the breakfast area would be closed. I feel that a small discount should have been applied to our stay. Just my opinion because obviously it's not that huge of a deal but again it was the reason we choose this place.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. Dirty linens, construction, odd smell possibly due to water removal/mold?, no breakfast being served. Absolutely minimum service. Seemed more like a motel than a hotel. |I would not recommend.

Melinda at the front desk was super nice. I told her my husband needed a room close to the entrance. She made sure she did. Let me know if I need anything just let her know. Four stars just because of the room. It was nice. Ac worked perfectly. It wasn't noisy being close to traffic. We slept the best we ever slept in the two weeks we were on vacation. We didn't see breakfast. We were up and out the door. I would stay there again. I believe they are working their hardest to make improvements.

By far this was the worst experience of my life. Went through a horrible hurricane I had no power. The Inn did have power when I was there. I booked 2 nights. My power came back on so I attempted to cancel 2nd night. Was told I would get refunded. NEVER AGAIN! I AM OUT $200.
