I've been a long-term guest of Bay Palms for many years, keeping my camper there year around as we love to visit and fish out of Dauphin Island. Traditionally, Bay Palms has grown because it was a clean and well-maintained RV park that supported local fisherman. As ownership has changed, so has management. ||The park has barely maintained any amenities it provided. The Wifi that was terrible, I mean Dial-Up terrible. They finally improved the Wifi only to start charging ridiculous rates to use that "amenity". ||Fisherman are welcome, but don't bring a boat. You can park them in the back at a $3 per day rate which is first come, first serve. So, after fishing all day, you may not have a place to park your boat because parking at your site is strictly prohibited.||They announced grand plans of turning the park into a luxurious RV Resort but they only thing luxurious now is the monthly rate they charge to stay. And by luxurious RV Resort, I mean fewer parking spaces for boats and no fish cleaning station. ||The management is rude, overbearing and love implementing rules. I've become friends with many of the long-term guests and most all of them have left and are seeking alternate camping options.||I have had a long career in law enforcement, but the nasty notes left on my camper door and phone calls from the current Manager, Jamie, has made me feel like a criminal or rule breaker, which I far from.||I guess we'll see how it goes this summer when the summertime swingers take over the pool and pool house. (Yearly Event)||Oh, and I wouldn't recommend staying at Bay Palms RV Resort.

We've been staying at Bay Palms RV for the past few years, and this year, our experience was truly exceptional, thanks to Jessica. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. Her dedication and helpfulness made a significant difference, and we couldn't be more grateful. I have been here 10+ yrs
And am glad other's that were managing are gone.The best thing that you have ever done was to hire JESSICA..she has been the best since Steven sold this campground.She does everything here and ALWAYS HAS A SMILE ON HER FACE!! She certainly has filled this place since the mass exodus that happened here last year...The best thing you could do is get her a maintenance person and pool Co and Housekeeping..she does it all and would be an asset to manage your parks ...she know more than any others thus far...she has Bay Palms and all of us here on her radar as to needs and wants ...We are lucky to have her here!
This past weekend was the Best 4th in years!!! Karaoke was the Best!!!

We really enjoyed staying here! This was our first RV park with our new camper and everything went very smooth. Loved the location and you're right down the street from a Dollar General if you need anything. Staff was very friendly and other campers were too. The pool was so nice and I loved that it was heated. Nice to be able to relax in the pool even if it's not 80 degrees out. Our dogs loved the dog park, which was nice since we have to bring them with us. Plenty of room for different sizes of RVs at all the different lots to pick from, and great prices. We will be coming back for sure!

Visited in February for 3 week and had a great time. Jami and Jeremy were fantastic. Beyond accommodating, friendly and helpful. Campground was clean and well kept given the age of the bathhouse and other amenities. Looking forward to visiting again, can't wait to see what it looks like after the renovation in completed. Only suggestion would be to improve the dog park as the current one puddles after rain making it unusable.
Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this part of Alabama.

I brought my grands for a couple days to Dauphin Island before school starts and was very disappointed in this park. It is an older park with small sites. The concrete on our site was broken and lots of dirt and mud surrounding the site. There is no wifi unless you pay extra for it. There is no cable. This is NOT a family oriented park. There are parties late at night at the pavilion next to the pool. Loud music and drunks. We actually left late our last day there because we were near the pool and we didn’t want to be kept awake half the night again. The only good thing I could find about this park is the pool. It is a very nice pool. The pictures on the web site are deceiving. Not near as nice as it looks. I should have read the reviews before booking.

We have been at BayPalms for about 3 years and NEVER have we EVER see such great things as now . Jessica who is the park manger/maintenance has done a 360 for this park, she is 100% dedicated to this park and us that are in it. Before she came so many of us left due to poor management. Jessica thank you so much for loving your job this park and us , I pray BayPalms continue to grow as it is now with Jessica here! I recommend this place to anyone who wants a good time, relaxation and a second family in their life!!
