This is a value hotel. If you are looking for or have the expectations of a luxury hotel then please keep going or at the very least do not leave a bad review based on unrealistic expectations. Ok, for those that do have realistic expectations please read further. Let's start with the service we received at check in. The gentlemen that checked us in was super friendly and extremely helpful. I think he was able to tell that I was extremely tired and he got me checked in super quickly with a great attitude and a great smile. He gave us a more than fair rate for the night although he could have gouged us as other nearby hotels and motels that we had also contacted tried to. Is this an older hotel, yes it is but it was very clean. As someone in the hospitality industry I know how hard it can be for an independent hotel to maintain cleanliness in an older property. I noticed that in the lobby they had a bunch of new equipment staged and it was very clear and obvious they were in the process of updating and renovating the property. This was also very obvious on our way to our room and once we were in our room. I see a few other review mentioning an odor. This odor is from the fact this like any other older hotel used to have smoking rooms. They are doing just as good of a job as bigger hotel chains at mitigating this.

My mom and I are evacuating from Florida to escape hurricane Milton. We'd been driving for 18 hours straight and finally decided to stop somewhere to rest, so we ended up here. We are traveling with a dog and were taking him out to pee and drink water in the far back of the parking lot before we checked in for a room. There is a parking lot attendant I guess? He came up to my very scared dog (scared of the semis at the nearby gas station) and loudly clapped at him, then told us we can't walk our dog there if we are not guests at the hotel. Then he followed us BACK to the car and continued to stare at us while we were in our car until we decided to just leave. The parking lot was almost completely empty, there was no one else near by that we were disturbing with our dog. Our car is full of luggage so we were obviously potential guests. He was so weird and unnecessarily hostile. If that's how they treat people before they even get in the door, there's no way that hotel is a pleasant place to stay.

Let start off saying this was a one night stay. It was memorial Day weekend They were price gouging because no other hotels were available 230 for one night ridiculous. Especially for the room I got when we walked in the smell of the room was horrible They need to be updated the white sheets on the bed had stains all over them wasn't even tucked under the bed. Instead of having fitted sheets on the bed they just had the top sheets as the bottom sheet which was hanging on the floor. When I went to the front desk to complain the only thing he said was do I want to refund. We were so tired that we just stayed I couldn't sleep the whole night looking under the sheets and mattress bed for bed bugs I couldn't wait to leave my bf slept thru it.

The rooms and entire hotel was super clean even the outside very very clean as a former housekeeper and germ freak I was super impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel man at front desk was super nice super helpful I don’t know why there are such negative reviews I saw nothing even remote close to the negative things people are saying I would stay here I would recommend

this place is a dump , out dated , Indian owned , voice message on the phone says new. that's a joke it may have been new 25 years ago. anywhere would be better than this place. best rate they gave me was 109.00 , wifi is not available unless you give the desk personnel access to your computer ,

Considering it's right next to the truck stop, it was surprisingly quiet. The room was comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. There were only 2 complaints, the bathroom fan. It was connected to the light switch, but at least we could turn it off. Also, the TV was a little bit blurry and out of focus, but we could still see it, though. Ultimately, it was worth the money, and we will definitely be back and visiting this hotel again. Hopefully, next time, the pool will be open.

This is a nice hotel. I saw a few bad reviews but I’m glad I ignored them. The room was a good size, it was clean, there was a fridge and microwave. The air worked great even on an 85 degree day. The pool looked really nice although I didn’t have time to use it. Will definitely be back when in the area.
