This was a return visit. This time, all was so good that we will return in November for the Christmas Lighting event. It’s a great place to relax, but if you want things to do, Becky Jones is a veritable encyclopedia of what’s what, what’s worth seeing, & who, what, & when of EVERYTHING, all the way back to Civil War history. Long time residents of Fairhope, Becky & Bill are delightful & attentive hosts. Breakfasts are delicious & hearty. This B&B is a rare & precious commodity in a world gone mad.

The highlight of our girlfriend's trip to the Fairhope Art Festival was the charming Bay Breeze Guest House! The owners, Miss Becky and Mr Bill, made us feel at home and the breakfasts were delicious! We plan to stay there in the future and highly recommend their lovely house.

Becky and Bill Jones were our gracious hosts at this lovely 1930's era Bed and Breakfast located on Mobile Bay. Glorious sunsets! The four of us were greeted with a sign in the foyer that instructed us to weave our way through this charming historical looking home to the kitchen where we found Ms Becky and Mr. Bill. We were made to feel right at home.|We reserved 2 suites. The Magnolia and Sunset||My Take-a-Way.|| - Clean, spacious rooms within the suites were filled with antiques, wicker and history.|- Fridges were included in all rooms. Some had kitchens. Coffee maker in each suite but it was recommended that we head to the kitchen each morning for Mr. Bill's "most excellent" coffee that was made each morning by 6:30.| - We had free range of this extensive rambling downstairs which included various sitting rooms and living areas, kitchen etc with views of the bay. Quiet music played though out while drinking our tea or coffee. |- Breakfast was served at 8:30. Each morning we were delighted to see a different china pattern set for breakfast. Apparently they have 11 different china sets so unless you stay 11 whole days, you won't see the same pattern twice. Beautiful.|- Fresh flowers in the center of our table and a different wonderful breakfast starting with fruit each morning.| |-Lovely long evenings were spent drinking wine at sunset either on the dock, patio or on our deck off the bedroom. If we wanted ice cream, we just went to the fridge and helped ourselves.||Ms Becky entertained us with interesting stories about the area, including the delivery through the bay, of the decaying retired 1950's luxury ocean liner, The "SS United States" to Mobile, Alabama on March 3rd 2025. It will undergo preparations to become the worlds largest artificial reef. Very Interesting!! |We enjoyed conversation and laughter chatting over our meal with the other guests. A lovely civilized way to start the day.||Bay Breeze is tucked between massive beautiful homes, a mere 5-10 minute drive from downtown Fairhope. We attended the annual 3 day Art Festival on main street. ||-Restaurants were close by: Kingfisher, Waffle & Beignets and R. Bistro were just a short walk from the end of their long driveway. The Grand Hotel was a 10 minute drive away and we enjoyed a drink at their bar for their water view.||Time well spent. Southern Charm through and through. |Thank you Bill and Becky Jones!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for two nights at the Bay Breeze bed-and-breakfast.

It is a remarkable property that has been in Becky’s family for years. We stayed upstairs in the Sunset suite. We had a sitting room, a lovely bedroom, with more seating, and a second bedroom with more seating, and a deck. From the deck, we could see the bay and the lovely garden which we could access from our own staircase.
Our suite was so comfortable that we did not spend time in the lovely living room and parlor.

The house has really beautiful furniture but the overriding feeling is one of welcome and comfort. Becky made a wonderful southern breakfast and Bill, her lovely husband even joined us.

We were made to feel so comfortable as if we were a part of the family but we weren’t allowed to do any dishes!

There are a lot of choices out there for places to stay, but if you are interested in staying in a beautiful, peaceful, one of a kind place, you will not be disappointed with Bay Breeze B&B.

TripAdvisor rates this B&B as #2 in Fairhope but I beg to differ. It is #1 hands down! My sisters and I stayed here for three nights while visiting family and we were utterly delighted in every way. Becky and Bill made our stay over the top! They have poured their souls into this “home” and it is one of the most delightful places I’ve ever lodged. This is an enchanting place with all the family history and beautiful antiques spanning back to the 1800’s. Becky goes above and beyond from the outstanding breakfasts to the bay front gardens and pier that are perfect for relaxing and drinking in the gorgeous bay sunsets. She is a wealth of information for touring this lovely town and learning it’s history. We truly felt like family and now consider Becky and Bill as family as well. We loved them and their lovely property. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Fairhope and we hope to be blessed to go back again next year! Thank you Becky and Bill!
