The food was really good and well priced. It wasn’t very busy when we went and seemed to take a while to get our food.
But again it was overall a great experience!

I was expecting it to be just like any other regular restaurant but this place is good. They had a Blackened Salmon Caesar Salad that day and I was incredibly happy with how they cooked the salmon. Usually, most restaurants over cook the salmon till it's dry 😢 but this place cooked it perfectly. It was well seasoned, juicy and melted in your mouth like a good cooked salmon should. It was delicious! Their caesar dressing was also perfection. The honey pepper bacon burger was also freaking amazing.

The food was mediocre, it was under seasoned if not seasoned at all. And the sauces they used were good but they used it to hide the fact that the food was bland and almost cold. The ribs we ate tasted like they came out of the freezer and weren’t even warm but they were covered in sauce. The fish didn’t even have salt on them and tasted bland but the chips were good. The Tortellini with pesto cream sauce was good and the grilled chicken was nice.

Very good food. It’s obvious they care about quality and the details that make a meal great. Everything is made in house and they chill their salad plates! Super cozy, friendly, and welcoming.

I was at a conference at the Cox Convention Center and needed something to eat nearby, so I stoped in here. The food and service were both decent. It beat standing in line for a sketchy food truck, so I can’t complain.

The food was just ok. My granddaughter got spaghetti off the child’s menu and it was so runny with water. It didn’t even look like they drained the spaghetti noodles before they put sauce on it. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta, which tasted OK, but I spent the rest of the night with an upset stomach.

In addition, stub wall in between the tables had a layer of dust on it right by our table. And they let a dog in during dinner time. The dog was not a service dog, and the staff was petting it and rubbing on it while other people in the restaurant were eating.

Very nice cozy place for dinner. It has long history of having top notch food with multiple generations of family that have worked at Baxter’s. It is casual but upscale from just a bar and grill. Highly recommend.

Wonderful meal at Baxter’s! Service was excellent, Kendall had great recommendations. Hubby had the fish & chips which he said were very good. I had the cajun chicken pasta which was delicious. Just wish it was served with a breadstick to dip in the sauce. Nice atmosphere, not too loud. Can’t wait to came back!
