Limited number of staff members assisting at checkout.
One for the self-check out and someone, eventually, for the cashier line.
Their donuts section is favorite of seniors who have coffee and a donut while they chat with friends. Although they are tasty, the donuts are smaller in size.
Prices seem to be higher than Safeway's on comparable products. But they do weekly offerings at a lower price in selected items.
Store is clean.
Their mexican products are pricey and limited.
Dairy section needs to be better stocked.
Unfortunately, there are only 2 grocery stores to go to in Fountain hills, Arizona...Basha's and Safeway.

Produce here is really hit or miss. Bought a bag of potatoes, checked the bag thoroughly and a day later half were rotten in the middle! Seems whenever we get the bagged potatoes we have to throw out half but I don't have this issue with other stores at all.

The shelves are empty of staples! Went for reddi whip today. Empty. No Italian sausage in butcher case. Very little in deli case. Store is pathetic compared to what it used to be. One day they had no cilantro. Is manager that bad

I have an emergency and needed to stop by the store for some items. It was almost 9:45 and the doors wouldn't open. I have video as well of the doors not opening and others as well who needed to stop by not able to enter when the sign clearly says open till 10pm EVERYDAY.

Every time I come into this grocery store, there are four to six employees standing at the front staring at all of the local people self checking out. Absolutely ridiculous.

Shame on this stores management for continuing to let this go on.

Although the location is prime I for one will not bother to come back as long as this is going on.

Wonderful grocery store. Quality merchandise and displays are very nicely presented. Their bakery makes wonderful blueberry fritters. They also make wonderful breads and I am right now eating peanut butter on their multigrain which is delicious.
It says that they are carrying Cloverdale bacon, tangy summer sausage etc but I can only find the bacon in the store. The meat department person that I visited with and asked about the tangy sausage was rather rude and not helpful.
Our daughter Leslie works in the deli and she makes wonderful pizza so go and visit her.
