Absolute privacy in my spacious canvas tent and attached deck contrasted with community and conversation in the hip, climate-controlled, and well-equipped guest house. There are double of each appliance (so several can cook at once), two long tables for eating or working, a comfy couch, and maps/hiking guides etc. The outdoor set up is perfect, with spaces to sit, eat, grill, or lounge in hammocks. ||The manager Stephanie was super welcoming and had lots of great tips. She was available yet unobtrusive. ||I loved the really comfortable mattress, thoughtful amenities such as extra blankets, a solar bank for your devices, headlamps to borrow, and more. I could've stayed longer and am already anticipating a return trip. Well done, Stephanie and the Basecamp crew!

Slice of heaven in the desert! We loved our tent, the deck and views. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. Bathroom and kitchen (shared) are well designed and new. The overall vibe is incredible. Appreciate having started our trip here!

What a great place to stay... breathtaking area and the stars at night... Amy is superfriendly. The tents are comfortable and the fully equiped kitchen is great, everything you need for cooking is there. All the basics are available in the kitchen and the free smores making was fun. The hammock's are very comfortable.
If we ever come back to this part of America, we'll stay at Amy's again!

Absolutely beautiful! Each tent has enough space between to ensure privacy and is turned in different ways to face a nice outlook. You park beside your tent which is handy. The shared space is central to all the tents and has a pebble pathway lit up by small solar lights. There are 2 showers and another restroom. The kitchen has 2 fridges with labeled shelves for each tent. Lots of kettles for boiling water and French presses for coffee! Highly recommend staying here!

A dreamy place! Unfortunately we were only here for one night as we were passing through. But this camp has everything you need to stay longer, feel comfortable and relax. Beautifully furnished, with lots of lovely details. Everything has been thought of: tissues by the bed, blankets, basic foodstuffs such as coffee, tea, salt, spices etc. in the communal kitchen, games, books and shower gels, aloe vera for burns or mosquito bites and so on. Everything has been thought of! Plus a really lovely hostess and nice people around you. The night in front of the tent under the full moon is unforgettable! We definitely want to come back one day and stay longer. Important: the route is not signposted. Our sat nav didn't manage it either and led us astray (we ended up on a neighbor's farm). So it's best to use Google Maps, which reliably leads you along the gravel road that can also be driven on by car (slowly).

The best glamping spot we stayed at, by far. We've stayed at others but BaseCamp 37 stands above them all. There's only 5 tents, so it's much quieter and peaceful, making it more of a community. The guest house is a great place to meet other folks who are traveling. And the views... the views are where it's at. You'll feel like royalty camping here: comfortable bed, sleeping to the sounds of nature, fresh air, stars galore, and with all your creature comforts. We'll be back!

Amy is such a kind and amazing host. Everything about this place is carefully thought out. It is clean, comfy, extremely peaceful (we recommend booking enough time to hike andddd hang out because it’s such a neat spot to unwind).

We just spent a beautiful night at Basecamp 37. The room was super comfortable and the grounds were gorgeous. Loved the view and the communal space was very user friendly, nice and clean! It’s completely off the grid and self sustaining. Highly recommend!
