As someone that grew up in a city (East Side San Jose, CA) which has a very large Vietnamese community, my Vietnamese wife and I were very skeptical about how authentic the food here would be. We would like to tell everyone that the banh mi sandwiches here are legitimately authentic and super delicious. We purchased the breakfast and lemongrass beef banh mi sandwiches. Absolutely loved them and will definitely come back the next time we visit Tucson. My wife has actually named this place her favorite Tucson food spot so far. The cafe sua da was ok, but I really needed the caffeine boost this morning so I won't criticize it too much. 😅 We understand that not everyone is familiar with banh mi sandwiches and it's unique flavor profile, but we can reassure you that Banhdicted is a hella good food spot to eat at. 😁🤙

So food is always delicious every time, however I’ve noticed depending on the staff (which I’m sure is pretty normal) the items vary on how they are prepared. Depending on who is there the day that I go in is how I’ll know my meal will be great. Sometimes I am okay with the food.
Pictured was from my last recent visit and you can tell the bread was different and it’s very toasted. Thai tea was great!

I tried Banhdicted after hearing it being raved about by a friend. This place absolutely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The staff greeted me with smiles which is always a good sign. The customer service here is top notch. Super friendly, attentive, and happy to answer any questions about the menu.

Now about the food, Wow. I ordered the beef lemongrass banh mi, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The bread was perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and the filling was packed with flavor. Tender meats, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of pickling. The balance of flavors was spot on, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming.

I highly recommend this place!

Delicious Bánh Mì, Egg Rolls, and Pot Stickers!

This food truck is incredible! I grabbed some homemade egg rolls and pot stickers, and wow—they were amazing! The egg rolls were crispy and packed with flavor, while the pot stickers were perfectly pan-fried with juicy fillings. It’s clear everything is made with care and attention to detail.

The atmosphere around the truck was super chill, with a great vibe—perfect for hanging out while waiting for food. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices are super reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.

If you like traditional bahn mi, get the AZ special. They make it amazingly and you won't be disappointed!
Edited to add: they added green thai milk tea to their menu and it's a perfect blend of sweet, creamy, and refreshing! It's become such a trendy drink that I love and feel recently has been popping up everywhere, and dare I say, they make it the best in town?!

Almost a five here. The shop appeared nice and clean, not too busy so we were greeted nicely and ordered quickly. We ordered a shrimp Bahn Mi and it was wonderful. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. I cannot complain about the food at all and highly recommend it. A small amount of points deducted for the lack of space. It’s small with very limited seating.

Friendly people and awesome little shop. They are always looking at ways to make it better. Best banh mi in town and even better with different drink options. Love their sandwiches because it's flavorful and tasty AF. I usually get the special, grilled pork and lemongrass. Even better if you add a fried egg or spam or hell go wild add both. Mind blown and taste bud will thank you. Keep it up guys! Here's a few photo of my ventures there.

Love a good Banh Mi, but this isn’t the place to go. I’m shocked at the 4.8 rating. Staff were very nice and food came out quickly. First off I noticed the trash can in the middle of the restaurant was very dirty on the outside where customers tossing trash had spilled stuff for what looked like the last few months. Dirty and grimy, needs attention. Sandwiches came out quick but were already soggy in places from the juices the meat were sitting in. Bread didn’t seem freshly baked and the outer part was a little hard and dried out from being warmed up. Pickled veggies weren’t very pickled, they were fresh but not pickled well at all. Overall the banh mi was meh. Wouldn’t order again. Lastly after eating I used the restroom. Yikes! It was absolutely disgusting! Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a very very long time. Had I used the restroom before ordering I would’ve left immediately. If that’s what the restroom looks like I can imagine how dirty the kitchen is. After leaving the restroom I noticed the girl working had really really long nails, not sure how she would even be able to put gloves on for food safety. I’m just imagining all the nasty stuff under her nails. The owner or manager needs to get this place cleaned up! Place is busy too, lots of pickup orders. If you’re a future customer reading this go check out the bathroom before you order!
