Amanda was so accommodating! She went above and beyond to accommodate my early check in and was relentless with getting me situated. Thank you for your wonderful customer service! I traveled from Florida and was very pleased with the cleanliness at this hotel. The food at the bar was meh. I ordered the sampler- bland and average. For a business trip, I would stay here again. ✝️

My first time staying at the Marriott for work. The rooms are nice and the location is convenient to the venue where commencement was held. The attribute that stood out for me was the customer service. I had some big boxes of merchandise that I didn't want to leave overnight in my car. Alyssa helpfully offered to store the boxes until I was done working the ceremonies. I'll definitely stay here again.

Really friendly staff and clean rooms. 3rd party websites advertise that it has breakfast included but it’s not. It’s a normal overpriced inhouse cafe.

The room feels a bit outdated, and the sink pipe is visibly broken, causing water to leak all over the floor. However, what I found most concerning was being placed in a room with a connecting door to the adjacent one, which offered little privacy—I could hear everything from the other room, including loud TV noise and conversations. It would be much better if guests were asked about their preferences before being assigned these types of rooms.

Solid 3.5 — 4⭐️

👍🛏️ No special remarks about the room or beds. They get the job done, and everything was clean.

🍽️ Basic cafe is present for morning coffee, but they were limited on food items. I haven’t personally utilized other dining options, but I did notice a plaza nearby with more options.

🅿️🚗 No issues with parking. Available onsite.

I stayed here the past 2 nights (December 2024 Christmas week). The entire hotel staff was wonderful, The bar was somewhere enjoyable|To hang out and the restaurant food was great. It’s not a great area of Bakersfield but it was 1 mile from the hospital my Mom was at and is probably the nicest hotel in town.

The loudest room in recent memory.
The high points: the staff were kind and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Unfortunately these were the only high marks as the room was poorly appointed and incredibly noisy. Every noise from the conversations in the room next door were audible, as well as the parking lot outside. Car alarms, revving cars, slamming doors, and the adjacent railroad came alive within the room. Moreover, the refrigerator and air conditioner added additional loud noise to the already noisy and uncomfortable room.
Our shower did not drain, when finally addressed 2 days into our stay, the odor from the cleaning agent filled the room for hours. The TV did not accept inputs from external iPad or computer, making it impossible to stream your own entertainment.
Overall, very little to like at this hotel.
