Probably the best option in this area for dining. My wife loved the garlic toast with cheese and pepperoni. She wasn’t as thrilled with the chicken marsala. The sauce is closer to an alfredo sauce than a robust marsala sauce.

I heard a good report about the owners of this restaurant who owns a couple of others so I had to try it even though I usually don’t eat in the University area due to so many Tucson restaurants. I forgot they had parking meters so the assistant/manager, Emily even helped me navigate that challenge as a senior person. She gave me the most excellent, classy service in every way that I have had in a long time. I eat out (too) often. The restaurant has nice cloth napkins and flowers that look real on each table. The food is amazing!! I had a grilled shrimp pasta dish. The shrimp had just the right amount of grilled taste while keeping it tender as well as the sauce being so tasty with tiny sliced tomatoes in with the wonderful noodles. There were 2 men cooking I think; one of which was named Chris. They created a great masterpiece with a little deviance to my wishes. I highly recommend Bacio Italian.

Bacio on University Boulevard in Tucson, Arizona, near the University of Arizona campus, offers a delightful Italian dining experience. Serving beer and wine and exceptional food. From the first bite to the last, the flavors were exceptional, showcasing the authenticity of their dishes. The casual yet inviting atmosphere adds to the overall charm, making it a perfect spot for a satisfying meal. The friendly staff and prompt service further contribute to the positive experience. The service was great! They have an adorable outdoor section for additional seating perfect for the sunny weather. Bacio is undoubtedly a go-to place for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine in Tucson.

We had the absolute best server! She was amazing, attentive, and accommodating! We had a large party, and our service was top notch. The drinks were tasty and the food was fabulous.

Atmosphere was great. Hostess was wonderful and waitress great personality. Drinks were delicious. But…… here it goes for the 3 ⭐️ they opened at 11am and by 12:30pm they were out of pizza dough 😂 and the calamari was so overcooked we thought we were having a leather belt. I had fettuccine with bolognese sauce and it was tasty but pasta in my dish, along with chicken Marisela my husband had was not done. For $98.00 we will not try this place a second time. 3 ⭐️ is for customer service and drinks.

Great, little Italian spot off University. One could say their pizza is arguably the best Tuscon has to offer. We had a late lunch and Bacio didn't disappoint. The service was prompt and efficient and our food was hot off the press. Thank you for a lovely experience.

I don't know where my original review went so I'll do it again. This is my second time here and the chicken piccatta is still amazing.

Bacio has a great location and an easy to understand menu. The atmosphere is comfortable and nicely appointed. I thought the food was pretty good and the service even better. I recommend the calamari, it was cooked to perfection.
