We were not sure if we wanted to visit this place because of past reviews but glad we did!! Food was great! Service from Francisco was awesome!!

The food was good, but not worth the price. The steak fajitas (Monterrey) had barely any meat. I would just prefer to support a more authentic establishment that doesn’t cost $20 a plate.
But, the Mexican Enchiladas are good, the steak is delicious, just would be better if they gave more meat and less expensive.
Also the service was questionable, we had a large group but were happy to split, but the hostesses had a hard time figuring out the seats and it was more chaotic than necessary.

I am very picky when it comes to Mexican cuisine. This placed nailed it. All 6 of my group were extremely impressed with their dishes. Two of us grew up in Arizona and appreciate authentic Mexican food. We have since moved to Utah and haven’t found a place that is a must go to for dinner. On a road trip we came across this place and man I wish we could have one back home.

Chile rellano is TOP NOTCH according to one of our diners. I would buy the salsa on a regular basis if us lived closer.

I ordered the chicken taquitos and they didn't have any flavor. I had to add lots of salt and drench them in the salsa. The salsa was very mild, had a cumin flavor which was strange as usually you don't put it in the salsa because the food already has that flavor. I asked for a spicier salsa and they brought me habanero sauce that had barely any taste.
The special was the blueberry Margarita, which was pretty good but not worth 16.00 but later found out it was not the special and I specifically asked for the special.
The bartender was only friendly to certain people and was too busy talking to the staff. She checked on the person next to me and totally skipped me. Don't waiste your money here, now I know why they didn't have a lot of customers

Tried to go in and eat but would not allow me in with my husband’s service animal (wearing vest and service charm) because he didn’t have the ID card. The dog is a registered service animal and we left ID in our RV since Arizona state law does not require us to carry the ID and Federal Laws also protect the rights of my service dog, we were told we had to leave even though I did have ID for my service dog to prove just forgot the one. This business is violating both state and Federal Laws by denying service and asking us to leave, we went to Chicos and had amazing food. Will never do business with them and others shouldn’t if they can’t follow our laws!!

This was our first time eating at Azul Agave, and it exceeded every expectation. The food is incredibly authentic, the service was absolutely incredible, and the restaurant was very clean (including the bathrooms). I can not say enough good things about this place. Wish we could get food this good in SoCal.

Refuses to seat us with a service dog. Sign at door says service dogs only. Had the audacity to say since I was with family I didn’t need her. She is a legitimate service dog. She lays quietly under the table as she is trained too. Wonder if I was blind she would say the same thing. Awful!
