2/22/2025 I was held against my will today. I had to literally call the police to leave because my DON told the RN supervisor not to relieve me, and then proceeded to tell me I would face abandonment charges if I left. Needless to say the only reason I gave one star is because I’m going to miss the people there that I’ve grown so close to.

My dad was at this place 3 days when I pick him up no one help me put him in his wheelchair nor in my car; the never gave him his insulin they lost his teeth he left there with pneumonia and sugar level at 480. I don’t recommend no one to have there live one to stay there not even a day. I call this place left several messages no call back at all to check on my dad they finally call after 2 weeks and said they found the some top teeth no bottom. This place so is ridiculous. 😡

Do not leave your loved ones in the poorly managed facility. Staff is unconcerned for the well being of residents. Total disregard for the needs of the helpless and vulnerable. The staff sitting at the front desk, as you walk in, will not lift their heads to greet residents or families. They are unapproachable. Our loved one did not receive incontinence care and was rarely bathed. Meals were sub standard and unappealing. Staff does not engage or respectfully interact with residents. From administration down, we were so disappointed with the lack of communication and concern.

Don’t leave your loved one here. We checked our loved in on a Friday afternoon. Our loved one was in good condition and improving daily. That same weekend, on Sunday morning, our loved one passed away.

I'm giving this place 5 stars because my father may be residing here soon, and this may be the best place in Texarkana with a "locked" unit. Not to mention all the 1 star and "zero star" reviews have absolutely no feedback, which helps no one.

My girlfriend hasn’t been able to communicate with her grandmother for 7 months. Has been told she couldn’t, haven’t been answering calls, poor communication.
