We recently stayed for Oktoberfest at auburn and the service was great. We had to last minute book here due to our other hotel being down for construction (that didn’t let us know before hand) and the front desk lady is the sweetest person I’ve run into in a while! The rooms are great for the price and had no issues! I’d stay again!

Auburn Lodge is a small independently owned motel with recently remodeled rooms. I prefer a motel like this with room entrances to parking. This very affordable motel has a nice balcony and a gazebo, clean modern rooms and a very kind staff. Construction workers do stay there but this is not disruptive. The location is on South College in a convenient commercial area, but it is 1/4 mile from Shell Toomer walking trail to Chewacla State Park!

Hotel was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Close to restaurants and the university. Will definitely stay again. Janiece at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

Front desk staff were wonderful, rooms very clean. The only thing I didn't like was the multiuse shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. Doesn't seem very sanitary.

Hotel is located in a great area. Where you can get any fast food that you are interested in. Also if you forgot something at home on your travel, there's a Walmart nearby. Hotel is definitely clean, hostess that receive us was very kind and friendly. Room was everything in the pictures. Very comfortable and clean. I felt safe here. Would definitely come back.

Came here to stay for two night and the only nice thing I have to say was that the air conditioner work amazing. The staff at the front desk was extremely rude and treat us as if we were there to cause chaos. The floors in the bathroom had water coming out of the cracks, even though the room was “newly renovated”. I probably would’ve kept my mouth shut about the whole experience since we were only there for two days, but on the day we checked out the staff attempted to keep $100 dollars and say that we never paid the $200 deposit for the two rooms we paid for, they only gave us our money back when we told them to check the cameras and after that they miraculously found the money and proceeded to tell us that they “misplaced” the money despite the fact that we watch the woman put the money with our paperwork on the day we checked in. So if you stay be sure to watch money and make sure you don’t get scammed. Don’t stay seriously, the staff is what set the vibe for the stay and it was quite clear from the start that it was going to be absolutely ridiculous from before we EVEN checked in to the moment we checked out.

After reading some of these reviews, I was actually nervous about our stay but we found no cause for complaint during our stay for the Auburn homecoming game. We had a newly renovated room that was clean and nice and cold. The staff had some goodies upon check in to celebrate the homecoming weekend. We were not made to make a $100 cash deposit but we called ahead and they said it was waived for the weekend so I’m not sure how often the cash deposit is required. We would stay here again when in town for a game.

Booked a room for a weekend to attend the game. Reasonable price & good location.

Only downside, my Fiancé and I found a bed bug and immediately checked out after the first night, and informed the staff. We’re okay. But, just remember to read the fine print. Because even though hotels in Alabama are legally obligated to, under state law, to refund you. This hotel states that they, under no circumstances, offer refunds. And they mean that, even if it goes against the law. I reached out and talked to one of the managers, or someone who claimed to be a manager, and they told me that I knew what I was getting into and since I killed the bug I saw and didn’t bring it to them that I’m probably making it up.
