We love Atwood. It’s always clean and the staff is friendly. We feel safe while we are there. The park rangers patrol all the time. The beach is wonderful and the hiking trails/ bike trails are fun. They have a wonderful camp store that has a new cute little counter and booths for food or ice cream.

Wonderful place to tent camp wish bathrooms were closer for kids but even with it being a walk the time we were there was great. There are inflatables in the water and I did feel it was over priced especially since we had already paid for camping. Feel campers should get a discount or it be included with your stay. Other than those small things it was a wonderful two night camping trip with friends. We never made it to hiking trails but that's on our next time we go list.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been to. The full hook up sites and gorgeous with cement patio and sooooo clean. We had an amazing time. The park is awesome and new. Didn't spend too much time at the beach but looked like everyone was having fun. The Bistro Restuarant on site was a plus. Definitely going back!

Was there for the annual fall festival. There are a lot of craft vendors and food vendors, but the prices were anything but reasonable. Also, there is a lot of hard walking since it is all concrete and pavement now. No shade.

Great place you don't even have to wear clothes most places frown upon nudity not this place my girl did reverse cowgirl right on the beach instead of getting a scolded people were throwing tips like it was a sidewalk act I got my willy wet and made some money for antibiotics afterwards...

Campsite was great. (823-22-21). We were in 823. However, the people next to us let their dog bark constantly. Also, kids ran unsupervised. Maybe you should have separate sites for people with dogs? It's nice to be able to keep the windows open and not hear a yappy dog all the time.

My husband and I stayed this past Tuesday and Wednesday night. We reserved a TENT ONLY site with electric… very frustrating to learn the electric pole is only for RV. Went to check if camp store had a conversion plug but they have no hours posted but it was just after 5:00 and they were closed. Couldn’t fill air mattress so slept on the ground. Went to the boat launch restaurant to have dinner but they are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Went back to camp store the next morning only to learn they don’t open till 11am. Third attempt for the store we read the menu that says breakfast served until 11am but they don’t open till after 11 Needless to say very disappointing experience. Best part about this massive campground was the free hot showers.

Camping grounds clean, spacious, especially the shower houses/restrooms. Showers so much space and it had AC which was perfect because I wasn't sweating after the shower. Lol.
The store was well stock with essential needs one may possibly need.
