This was our best little motel experience ever! The gals (and the dogs) that run the place are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They supported us with things we had forgotten (paper plates, spoons etc for our picnic meals), they even gave me a book to read when I had finished the one I brought! The room was was exceptionally clean and pleasant. We enjoyed sitting in the yard swing and even played a little badminton as if we were young again!

Four of us spent three great days hiking in Crater Lake National Park, and hanging out at the Aspen Inn.||We stayed at the Wagon House, which had two bedrooms, bath, full kitchen, and a wonderful main room with beautiful wood picnic table and a pool table!||Everything was beyond clean and we all felt very comfortable staying there. The hosts, Heidi & Shannon, were wonderful from the time we made reservations, all through our stay, clear to check out. They were extremely welcoming to all the guests. No TV, but the WiFi was good and there were lots of fun games inside and out, so when we weren’t hiking, we still had lots to do! The decor was a fun variety of all things Western. The beds were comfortable, lots of pillows, and the hosts were willing to provide anything they could if it wasn’t already in the room.||We loved it and will stay there again the next time we have a chance!

My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful Aspen Inn near Crater Lake National Park, and we highly recommend it! The location is perfect if you're visiting the park. The place was clean, well thought out, and had everything we needed for a 3-night stay. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and worth the money. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, making our stay pleasant. We are from Louisiana, and we'll be back to this place!

We were welcomed by the very enthusiastic and friendly owner, given maps and information, and placed a pin on the world map to show where we had come from. It straightaway made us feel at home in this small family business. The garden is a lovely space for children, and we saw a guest enjoying her yoga stretches there in the evening. The road gets very quiet at night. They sell ice creams at reception during open hours. In the cabins you'll find toiletries, a hairdryer, fridge, microwave, and even ear plugs. There isn't a TV, but that keeps the noise down and is more in keeping with the natural environment around the site. The accommodation was modest yet comfortable and reliable, and the whole site was fully booked with guests, despite being late in September. My one regret - as soon as I saw the triangle houses, which reminded me of the traditional houses in Madeira, I wished I had booked one. They aren't just for families with children, are detached so very private, and are a unique place to stay. I hadn't appreciated from the online pictures what fun they look in real life.

One of our best motels ever. Why? Very clean and spacious room with comfortable beds, microwave, heater and separate airco unit. Environmental friendly, because also a separate recycle bin. Very special: a bin with rag cloths to clean dirty stuff, like shoes or car windscreen. Never seen before, but so handy. Owner Heidi was also very friendly and gave helpfull tips about nearby restaurants. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 4 nights in an A frame cabin, and did some awesome hiking and swimming in Crater Lake NP, as it is less than 45 minutes from the Rim drive. Hosts Heidi and Shannon were wonderful and went out of their way to make my stay more enjoyable. I only used the downstairs part. The shower area is fairly small, but OK. There is a refrigerator, although the freezer was not working, also a microwave. They provide paper plates, bowls etc and plastic utensils to use. I should mention the organic grocery around the corner. Lovely fresh produce and packaged meals. I told the lovely ladies I was only giving it 4 stars due to the low lighting in the room.

What a memorable experience this was! Owner/Operators Heidi & Shannon (and pups Johnny & Mac) were super friendly and welcoming. A-Frame cabin #7 was a dream: clean, quiet, comfortable, and replete with little personal touches that testify to the care and attentiveness with which these two outstanding gals run the show. The grounds and the setting were just amazing; there’s nothing that says Oregon wilderness like snuggling up under a thick, warm blanket in a cabin in the middle of the forest while coyotes are baying and cattle lowing in the distance. We loved it! This was a perfect spot and setting for our visit to nearby Crater Lake National Park. We can’t recommend The Aspen Inn highly enough! And please don’t forget to pin the map hanging in the office!||Our many thanks to both Heidi and Shannon for providing us with such a wonderful stay.||—signed, the Canadian “Scenic Brothers,” Daniel and Denis||September 19th, 2024
