Honestly the best homemade cooking around the area. The town of Okemah OK is right off I-40 about 1 hour East of OKC. Restaurant is 1 mile off I-40 and the best food until you hit the State border into Arkansas except for fast food options. Highly recommend the "daily special" and always has fresh dessert!

Great food, perfect service, really good prices. Cinnamon rolls are great. Would have liked to try some of their pies or cheesecakes, but I was too full. In fact I couldn't eat the cinnamon roll onsite. I had to take them home. Servings were generous. The yeast rolls were hot and delicious. If I lived closer, I would be back for breakfast tomorrow morning.

A very nice old fashioned country atmosphere.
When we walked in we were immediately greeted by very upbeat, friendly staff. When we sat down, our server was ready with fresh hot coffee. Our server was not pushy about getting our order, but was immediately at our table when we were ready to order without us having to say a word!
As for our meal, it was delicious! My pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs done just as I ordered, and bacon that was not too soft and not too crunchy. I was also brought nice, warmed syrup for my pancakes. My husband ordered a combo plate that had biscuits, hash browns, eggs, and bacon all topped with a nice country gravy (please forgive us for not remembering the name of the dish). He ordered an half serving and could barely finish it; the servings are very generous!
The whole visit felt like having breakfast at your favorite grandma’s house…the grandma that loves to spoil you every chance she gets.
We are looking forward to going back and trying their lunch menu.

Our waitress, Cheryl was the best! The food and service was great quality. The best cafe and n Okenah. Breakfast was fantastic. The biscuits were amazing too!

The food is great. The rolls are amazing. Most importantly all the girls working there are the best. Very friendly and stay on top of things. Always feel welcomed every time i go. The only thing i wish was different would be to be open more hours but i understand good help is hard to find. Have i mentioned the prices are very affordable. Cheaper than buying dinner at the store.

Had a bad smell as soon as u walk in. Took forever to take order and get food. Co-worker had to box her food up to get bk on time. Had a cheeseburger that was ok. But my other co-worker had a salad that wasn't very good, and they even charged for tomatoes on the salad!! Definitely not a good experience. 😕
