We had a wonderful weekend getaway at AppleGarden Cottage. The cottage is quaint and relaxing, with scenic nature all around. We enjoyed meeting the Highland cows in the pasture and had so much fun exploring the surrounding areas (Tomales, Bodega Bay, Jenner). The homemade breakfasts from Jan was a highlight - the oatmeal scones and homemade waffles were some of the best we've had!

I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a serene, calming getaway in Tomales.

The Apple Garden Cottage was delightful! It’s located in a picturesque area and is a short drive to Tomales and Bodega Bay. The cottage was quaint and well-accommodated including unexpected niceties like a very comfortable bed, a warm bathroom floor, and a kitchen stocked with great coffee and fresh dairy products. The breakfasts were outstanding including farm fresh eggs, delicious scones, and mouthwatering bacon! Jan, our host was quite accommodating and hospitable. Our stay was very peaceful; It was especially nice to relax in front of the fireplace at the end of the day!

The Apple Garden Cottage was absolutely wonderful. Comfy, cozy, neat and tidy. Our host Jan was very hospitable, She stocked the fridge with welcome goodies and the breakfasts were delicious! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend!

We LOVED our stay at AppleGarden. It is such a peaceful place, where quiet (it's well off the main road) and nature abound. The cottage is lovely: clean, updated, well-designed, extremely comfortable, and stocked with whatever we needed for basic cooking.
As an Airbnb host myself, I pay particular attention to hosts, and particularly notice their level of care they show with their guests.
Jan puts so much effort into making this a great space, thinking of so many details that often get missed in other places (we were met with some food staples in the refrigerator, and some apple cider made on the farm). We loved our breakfasts - so thoughtful, delicious, and beautifully packed for us.
The cottage is a ways away from a town of any size, but this said, it's a perfect place for a getaway weekend, where quiet and rest are priorities.

We recently spent two nights in this wonderful cottage. The owner Jan is very thoughtful and delivers a delicious breakfast each morning. It was delightful to be so well taken care of and the quality of all the items and ingredients are excellent. We also loved coffee machine with Pete's delicious coffee. Easy drive to Tomales, Pt. Reyes and Bodega Bay. It is quiet and we so enjoyed having an EV charger, perfect to use to recharge.

Just 2 of us in town for a friend’s wedding that was the next lane over. Very convenient location, the cottage was clean & cozy! Perfect for a few days. Jan was an excellent communicator and delivered a delicious breakfast to our door each morning! I would recommend this to any family & friends.

We spent two nights at the cottage this summer and had a marvelous time. The cottage itself is fabulous, outfitted with everything we could have wanted. Jan is a thoughtful, attentive host who thinks of every detail. Her scones are superb. All of our breakfasts were wonderful. The setting of the farm is lovely, with fields to roam in, and creatures to admire. Jan’s recommendations for lunch spots are helpful and thoughtful (we especially loved the Route One Bakery in Tomales and the Marshall Store in, well, Marshall). I see that some guests felt there weren’t restaurants nearby for dinner. If you don’t want to drive, that’s true. But if you don’t mind a 10-15 minute drive, we had great experiences at Tony’s and at Nick’s Cove. We found the cottage to be a restorative, restful oasis, truly peaceful and comfortable. We will be back.

Apple Garden Cottage was WONDERFUL. We stayed three nights and couldn't have been happier with our stay. Jan and her husband, Lou were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our time and easy to reach if we needed anything. The cottage was clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. The bed was really comfortable and the warm breakfasts were DELICIOUS. You could tell there was a lot of thought and heart put into the details of this B&B.

We were able to take advantage of the location and explore both the northern coast above Bodega Bay, as well as Tomales Bay and Point. It was a wonderful weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of they bay area and we've already begun recommending this place to our friends and family. Definitely a MUST stay.
