Got a room for one week The beds are extremely hard my back was killing me every morning. Payday pet deposit and he still complained about my dog's shedding which I know is a lot but still. I offered to help by vacuuming in the evenings and mornings before he come to vacuum the room. Still wasn't happy. Also if you work a dirty job you might want to bring your own towels because they are very concerned about how dirty you get their towels and wash rags . Don't understand why he would complain so much especially whenever the people next to us was tearing up the place by swinging on the gutters talking about stealing cars and popping pills. The family that runs the place is very nice though they seem very peaceful it is a very clean place also. But if you want a soft bed and have a dog that sheds like crazy like a German Shepherd I would suggest finding another place.

We reserved a room for 2 from Wednesday to Monday, August 28 - Sept 1, to attend the Choctaw Labor Day Festival. |At the last minute our Granddaughter wanted to go with us. |Upon arrival we told the man checking us in we had our Granddaughter. |When the man presented the bill, he said he wouldn't charge us for our Granddaughter. We thanked him, and told him we appreciated the discount! We went to the room and, as always stripped the beds, looked in the drawers, baseboards, bathroom. Although dated, the room was clean. |We went to eat and drive around, bought snacks and returned to the motel. All of us were on our phones, tablets, commuters for awhile, and our Granddaughter said she was tired, and was going to bed. After a few minutes I noticed her wiggling and rolling over several times. She sat up in the bed and said, |"I think there's a bug in my bed." |My husband and looked, and the were many bugs in her bed, of various sizes. The bugs weren't on the bedspread, but, under the bedspread and in the sheets. |I yanked the bedspread back on our bed, the same thing.|My granddaughter and I took our stuff outside, shaking and rubbing it together, and putting it back in our car. |My husband went to get the manager. The manger just said he'd put us in another room. |Again, we checked the room and the beds, again saw nothing indicating BED BUGS. |Fortunately, the second room was clean. |After we got our credit card bill, we realized the manager over charged us. |I don't know of he went ahead and charged us for our Granddaughter, or for 2 rooms. |

If you're looking for a comfortable bed for the night, then this is your place. We were on vacation for two weeks and this was the last place we stayed. We're big people, so a comfortable bed is super important. This motel had the most comfortable bed we slept for our entire vacation vacation! We usually vary in the hotels we stay at. We've been to the Doubletree Hilton, Marriot, Red Roof Inn, Super 8, Days Inn, and Hampton Inn on this trip. So we mix it up to save a little depending on how we feel that particular day. It's an older motel, outdated but clean. If aesthetics are important to you, keep driving. However, for $55.00 it was a great place to have a quick shower and a good night's sleep. No traffic noise either. No amenities to speak of. However, that didn't bother us because we always come equipped. The ice machine is broken, but if you ask the front desk/owner, he'll give you one baggie full of ice. No breakfast or coffee. Just the basics.

While this apparently an older establishment it is very well maintained. The rooms are clean but outdated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good for downtown excursions and gives easy access to Robber's Cave State Park. Eating in this community is very limited however. The rates here are more than reasonable.

The hotel is older but the couple that takes care of the place are wonderful. Have been here for 7 weeks so far. Can’t beat the price or the service. The guy is constantly cleaning mowing or general repairs. Everything works as it should. I have never seen anyone wipe the outside of the doors to a motel. Each room.

Giving this place a 2 is generous. Only reason we stayed here was the last place in this town with a room. The pillows felt like flat rocks the springs were coming up through the mattress , the tile and tub were pink if that gives you an idea when this place was last fixed or maybe it was built. just a learning experience that i wont repeat next year.

This is an older quaint Motel run by husband and wife. Our room was very clean. The motel is convenient to a grocery store, there are a couple of restaurants the hospital is close by. We got a good night sleep, it was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again because it was perfect for our budget.

Very pleasant older couple run the place but as clean as they keep it, they have cheaped out on repairs and beds. Worst bed I have ever tried to sleep on. Concrete would be softer and the pillows were terrible. The bath towels were the size of hand towels and thin as paper. Television from the late 70's.
