Amazing people, amazing food honestly! They always know my order whenever I come in. I recommend the jerk chicken with rice and peas (add that extra oxtail gravy!) just the perfect amount of spiciness. I love the new hair cut too girl, new year new you! Off a recommendation from a coworker, I decided to give them a shot. I ordered a large Oxtails with white rice. I got to my home in Hartford to see that I had Oxtails with rice and beans. I've never been a fan of rice and beans, so I wasn't pleased. The silver lining is that the Oxtails were very good. So I will give them another try, however I will view my order prior to leaving. If my order was accurate, I would of given 5 stars.

Anthony's Jamaican Restaurant is a gem! The staff are always friendly and accommodating from the start. I typically order meals for 2-4 people, and the portions are generous, with an authentic taste that never disappoints. They also seem to have the most popular dishes available even towards the end of the day, which is a rarity for many restaurants.

Recently, I had the chance to try their catering services. On short notice, they prepared a delicious breakfast for me and a small family gathering. The food was fantastic, very affordable, and everyone ate well and complimented the meal.

As for the atmosphere, I can't comment too much since I usually grab and go, but the space is always clean, the food is properly covered, and the staff are professional and personable. While there are a few tables and chairs, it feels more like a storefront setup than a sit-down restaurant.

Highly recommend for authentic Jamaican food, whether you're dining solo, feeding a group, or catering an event!

I recently moved to the area and was so happy to see there was a Jamaican restaurant nearby! I got stew chicken and is was delicious! I got a medium and have enough for another meal. My son got a large pepper steak and he ate all of it! The beef patties were also delicious. Everything was spiced perfectly! The service was friendly and excellent. I will be returning! I can’t wait to try their other dishes!

You know that feeling when you are craving a certain type of food and when you get it...high levels of disappointment kicks in. The food was bland. As someone that loves to cook, you can tell that the chef(s) at Anthony's did not use authentic Jamacian spices in their recipes. This was a one and done.

Food was so so so good. Staff was very patient and friendly and helped me decide what to get. Pepper steak and jerk chicken with rice was delicious, flavorful and tender, and it was very quick. And i got 2 meals out of it. Well worth it. Can't wait to go back honestly to try more like the curry shrimp.
