Finally I had the famous lobster roll 🤔😔.
Ever since Angie's opened in Tempe, AZ I have been wanting to buy a lobster roll, however, 4 or so years in, I was never willing to make the drive. Finally today! They opened a new location by our home in Buckeye and you bet we would be there...so many expectations, yet it was underwhelming 😭. Now let's be objective here, the meat tasted good and yes! I know this is a cheap item compared to other rolls, however, the size was also comparable to the prize, where this roll was about half the size and meat as other I've eaten before. This was for sure a disappointment 😥, please make sure to review the pics I've added. In addition to the lobster roll, my wife had the sw chicken sandwich with roasted green chilies and avocado, the meal is less then $6 which is a great price point, however, the sandwich is also smaller, I would order 2 of them instead of ordering a meal to get all the protein benefits and none of the junk from the fries, which were nothing special. Finally, my kid had the tenders, he said they tasted were good but they seemed overcooked, am I wrong? Plz judge yourself once you see the pic. All in we spent $24 and mostly it was my fault due to the lobster being $10. If you buy 3 or 4 sandwiches alone the total would be less then $15 maybe that's a better option. We would definitely buy the chicken sandwich and try the burgers next since they are cheap but If you are in a rush and want something simple and clean and cheap to eat definitely consider Angie's, their food tastes clean and doesn't leave you feeling bloated, it is the right portion that will keep you going after lunch, just don't expect to be wowed like we did. I recently tried Angie’s Lobster and ordered two hot lobster rolls, a New England fried clam roll, spicy honey fried shrimp roll, and the fried cod sandwich. Every single one of them was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

The only downside was the size of the rolls—they’re quite small for the price. Additionally, I wasn’t thrilled with the attitude of the girl at the window when I checked my bags to ensure all the rolls were accounted for before heading out. It’s understandable to double-check a large order of over $60, and I didn’t appreciate it.

Not very often you walk up to a window & they hand you a bag of food & it looks like their website or facebook page pictures, no frills restaurant, no inside seating, great service & prices, we love the salads, great fish sandwiches, nice to have a healthy option to all the fast food that's fried, wife has had the French fries & they were pretty good, drinks are very good & reasonably price at 1.29 each, keep up the good work, please open one by us at Lake Pleasant Parkway & Happy Valley Road 😁

Wasn't happy with the service or the food. They shouldn't put the pack of dressing on top if you're food. Not friendly when placing an order was my 1st time 🙄 ever. For the money wasn't a lot of food and the taste was bland. The red onions were not sliced thin, were too thick.

I was finally able to stop and eat here and I will say that I was not that impressed. Upon ordering, my order was in two different bags and they forgot to give me one of the bags so I went back and I was disappointed with the size of the lobster rolls. I ordered a warm lobster roll, grilled lobster roll, spicy honey fried lobster tails, fries and a lemonade. All the food had a decent flavor but was just not worth the price for the size. Do not see myself revisiting again.

The salads are better than the other places. The tomatoes are actually ripened properly. The chicken is cooked perfectly and seasoned. The brown rice is nice. The portion sized are superior. You can tell the owner of this place cares about being competitive and progress.

Stopped by a few days ago and suffered the lines but I’m glad I waited. The hot lobster sandwich was really good although I think there might be a version that includes a spicy element but I’m not sure if there is such a thing. If there is I’ll try it. I also got the fried lobster and it was OK but fairly chewy, probably won’t get that again. the fries are really good which was a surprise and I had the Angie’s energy drink. I’m not sure exactly what it is but it tasted really good. I’ll go back but the lines need to die down first. Not waiting 30 min in this heat to get drive through. Also. It’s pretty far away from me so I don’t know how frequently I’ll head all the way over there. Fantastic price. $9.99 for the lobster roll “meal” with fries and drink.

Drive thru only, no dining room. Service was fine.
Growing up on the coast of Maine, I’m highly critical of seafood restaurants this far from the Atlantic.
The lobster roll was bland, served barely chilled. No hint of mayo or seasoning. The “lemon butter” served on the side tasted neither of butter nor lemon, skip it.
I’d skip that next time and go right for the fried seafood sandwiches.
It’s rare to find whole belly clams away from the coast and these were great for a reasonable price. The scallops were decent also.
They use real New England style rolls but the ones I got were previously toasted and had been sitting for a while. I really only wanted the clams and scallops without the roll so I picked them out and enjoyed them anyways.
The roll for my lobster was soggy.
