⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“We’re from Florida visiting Georgia for work, and The Original Angelos was the perfect choice for dinner! The food was absolutely delicious, and even though it was packed on a Friday night, the service was incredible. Our server was on their game, handling the busy crowd with ease and making sure we were taken care of. Every bite, from the appetizers to the main course, was perfection. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!”

Stopped here on the way to Cumberland Island and it was close to our hotel. We were impressed with the quality of the food, and the portion sizes were more than generous. I had a calzone and my partner had a meatball sub, and we both loved our meal (and had to bring half of it back). Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Calzones are always a delicious choice; Large enough portions to eat half and take half home

Conveniently located off I-95 by the gas station. The food is bountiful so if you are super hungry, they will feed you!

We had the shrimp scampi, eggplant parmesan, and the "Crazy Italian" pasta. The homemade vegetable soup had a tangy kick from the tomatoes and had potatoes, beans, corn etc.

The meatballs in the Crazy Italian pasta were tender and delicious.

Ordered a pizza for carry out. Waited 1/2 hr before pickup as they suggested. Went to pick up and it's not ready. Ok, no problem. Pay for it. They say have a seat. An hour later i ask where's my pizza? 2 little 10 inchers. Oh no they say. I'm like, have you even started cooking it? Oh guess what, they find them. Been boxed up a long time. Great, so it takes 1 1/2 hrs to get my pizza and it's freakin cold. Thanks for ruining my night. At that point you should have offered a refund. Workers were working hard there but management apparently isn't. I ended up throwing out the pizza and wasting my money.

This is a review of Angelo's Italian restaurant.

While traveling we decided to stop here because we were really looking forward to a good dinner before settling into a hotel for the evening.

We had just stayed in Florida for a few days and had eaten at two different Italian restaurants both of which were absolutely phenomenal.

Although the wait staff was pretty friendly in the inside was quaint and clean and neat I would have to say the food was subpar. Sauce tasted as if it was out of a can with some chunks of vegetables in it. What they call chicken parmesan I didn't even finish even though I was ridiculously hungry from traveling it was so horrible. I don't know what the coating was on the outside but it was like a very soggy Kentucky fried Chicken no crunch no taste.
If somebody bought my meal I would not go back....

I ordered chicken parmesan. It came with a ton of garlic bread, spaghetti and salad. The meal was huge and delicious. It literally could have fed three people. While we were there a homeless man came in and asked if there were any messed up meals. The staff treated him like he was a paying customer. Gave him food and water. Very kind staff.

Angelo's Pizza in Kingsland, Georgia deserves five stars because their food is good and genuinely good.
One the major flaws of the pizza wars is that in the relentless quest for lower prices the quality of ingredients goes down. At it's extreme, some of these unnamed locations don't serve pizza anymore. Instead, it's cardboard with tomato 🍅 sauce and processed cheese.
This doesn't exist at Angelo's. Think real 🍕 real quality. real ingredients.
They also serve items like salads and spaghetti like their pizza also quality.
It does get busy here, but it's manageable and well worth it.
