My Mom and I had a wonderful mother-daughter weekend at the Williams House Inn last month. Veronica is the perfect host: completely welcoming, engaging, and fun to talk with. She was great about answering all of my questions before and during our trip. Our room was super comfortable and well-thought out. The main house is beautiful and interesting, and there is the most beautiful old oak right across the street from the inn.

We really took advantage of the inn’s great location and walked into town on multiple occasions for dinners and shopping. (Be sure to follow Veronica’s recommendations!). Being able to quickly grab a couple beach chairs from the inn’s collection was also a big plus.

As many have said, the breakfasts were amazing - truly outstanding - definitely a highlight of our trip. Veronica was accommodating of my dietary preference, and it was fun to speak with our fellow guests each morning.

(My Mom is tough-to-please, so obviously I was thrilled I received an A+ for my selection of the Williams House - thanks Veronica!). If you are headed to Amelia Island, Williams House Inn is a fantastic place to stay.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, one of a kind, quaint, peaceful, but fun retreat please book The Williams House in Amelia Island! From the second we checked in until the second we left we were completely immersed in this historical home! The lovely owner/host Veronica is so welcoming and cooks up an amazing breakfast every morning. This was our first time in Amelia Island and this was the perfect place to stay. Especially if you’re looking for an adult only or couples retreat. It’s very close to downtown Fernandina with tons of shopping, food, and activities. Veronica was also very helpful in suggesting things to do. Our room was upstairs in the main house and included a screened in porch. The pics don’t do it justice but I’ll add some for you 🙂 ENJOY!

Veronica is the owner of The Williams House B & B on Amelia Island. She is very accommodating, informative & present.
I stayed at the inn for 3 nights with my daughter and we both throughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed in the Southern Memories room which had 2 decks porches (1in the back and the other in the front)
We took advantage of both.
The room and bathroom had plenty of space. The special touches of robes, soaps, makeup & beach towels plus a coffee/tea/filtered water/hot chocolate station in the lobby was very much appreciated.
We had 3 delicious 2course breakfasts
Which Veronica accommodated us a to go bag on our last morning because of our airport pickup time.
The B & B is centrally located to all the restaurants and shops and an easy walk to the beach.
We also used the bikes to ride over to Fort Clinch.
It was our first time visiting this beautiful Island and we both hope to go back

This is the nicest B&B on Amelia Island. Wait to go until Veronica, the innkeeper, has room for you! There are several choices for rooms, and we loved the Catherine’s Chamber— newly renovated, with a bathroom as big as the bedroom! This B&B is within easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the Historic Town Center. The breakfasts were gourmet experiences, in this lovely 1856 house! Veronica gives a level of personal service and professional management that made our trip to Amelia Island very memorable. Loved our anniversary trip here!

Word cannot express what an incredible experience we had. This was a surprise get away for my wife. Veronica is the best. The Breakfasts were amazing. If we had any questions Veronica was there with recommendation for tours and dinning. Plus it was the small things that were so right. Details were spot on and enjoyed the wine and puzzle each evening in the main house. The house was still decorated for Christmas and was beautiful. Parking was not problem. We had dinner at Dave's right around the corner, the meal was wonderful and the Cheesecake the best. It as if we were the only one there's there.. We will go back and look forward to returning to see more of the Island. Definitely go to the Fort and enjoy all then wonderful restaurants in the area.

This was one of the best B&B experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world. Veronica is an incredibly thoughtful and engaging host. Breakfast each morning is 5 star and the evening wine social was a great way to meet the other guests. We stayed in the King Ferdinand Suite which had a lovely fireplace and comfy bed. She also offers a military discount, which we appreciated. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I spent New Years Eve in Amelia Island and could not have been happier with our stay at the Williams House! The room was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Veronica, our host, was lovely to interact with and made us feel at home even for the one night we were there. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! We will absolutely be returning!

Husband and I recently enjoyed an exceptional 3-night stay at the historic Williams House in Fernandina Beach. Perfectly located on a lovely side street shaded by live oaks draped with moss, it is as beautiful inside as it is outside. There are an abundance of excellent places to shop or to enjoy a meal within walking distance. Our 2nd-story room opened to a lovely veranda, a perfect spot to relax after a day of cycling around Amelia Island. However, what places this inn above all others is its lovely and brilliant host and chef, Veronica. She has thought of every single thing that can elevate her guests’ experiences. You will not believe how incredible her breakfasts are! Each day of our stay was a truly unique culinary and dining experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
