Beautiful property. The room and dining area look just like the photos. Very cozy with an ocean view from the room. there is relaxing patio in the backyard to sit and watch the rainfall and a jacuzzi for guest. I canโ€™t imagine how beautiful the location is in spring when itโ€™s full bloom and sunny out. There is many sights really close by - 10 minutes to Heceta head lighthouse and 8 minutes to Thors well and Cape Perpetua. The owner Mary is very kind and personable, you can tell she has put a lot to love into the b&b. Still in business in February 2025, definitely a hidden gem. I booked a room by calling & leaving a message.

We only spent one night at the B&B but were very impressed by the reception and hospitality. We had a couple of great conversations with Mary over a cup of coffee/tea in the evening and over a magnificent breakfast in the morning. Mary gave some very good pointers as well as to local points of interest. We can certainly recommend this great stop on the Oregon coast.

My wife and I recently visited Ambrosia Gardens Bed & Breakfast during our recent vacation. The location of the B & B is nestled on the beautiful, wild Oregon coast. Mary is a wonderful host and made us feel very comfortable while staying. She provided us with a bevy of places to visit and was full of informative local knowledge. Our room was very cozy and had spectacular views of the Ocean. We kept our windows open and enjoyed the sound of the nearby waves. We loved the breakfasts Mary made for us both mornings. If you like the rainforest and/or gardens, you will be in heaven at this B & B. Ambrosia Gardens is close to great hikes like the Hobbit Trail, coastal features like Thor's Well, a wide array of picturesque beaches, and is only a 7-10 minute drive to Yachats. My wife and I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back!

We stayed here as part of our 1st anniversary celebration. I have stayed in many B&B's and hands down Mary is the best hostess ever. We felt welcomed and right at home in our home away from home. The grounds are gorgeous and she has a hot tub for guests to use that you soak in while facing the ocean. Perfect way to end the evening after a day of site seeing. We will definitely be returning next year for our second anniversary celebration.

Ambrosia Gardens is one of the nicest bed and breakfast locations we've ever stayed. It is beautifully decorated inside with hand-made quilts and lovely antiques and outside with lush, well-cared for gardens. The owner made gourmet breakfasts for us - one day individual Dutch baby pancakes with fresh fruit salad, and the next a delicious frittata, also accompanied by fresh fruit with blackberries she recently had picked, the first of the season. She was very attentive to details and inquired about food allergies and coffee/tea preferences the night before. She was extremely helpful answering any questions that we had about local restaurants as well as the interesting water features at Cape Perpetual which was nearby. The B&B is located near the interesting town of Yachts to the north and is not too far from Florence to the south. It has a view of the ocean and you can hear the waves all night long if you choose to keep your window open.

Wanted to escape Aug heat of Texas by staying on the Oregon coast for a week and was extremely happy with my choice of Ambrosia Gardens and Yachats (of course) for my 4-night stay. Turning off the Pacific Coast Highway (Rte 101) into the driveway leading up the main house, I was impressed with the setting: lovely gardens in front, house nestled into large fir trees in the back, and a raised location allowing a view of the ocean. The property is on the side of the road opposite the ocean side. Nevertheless, opening the windows of my room, i went to sleep to the sound of waves on a relatively calm ocean day. Mary was a great host. She prepared some fabulous multi-part breakfasts and was more than helpful in guiding myself and other guests to nearby activities, restaurants, and the many sights along this absolutely beautiful coastline. My room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there many delightful features of my room and common areas of the B&B, showing that Mary has put a lot of time and effort into making this a home away from home.

This is just copy pasta from my review on Google. But I wanted to make sure to add it here, since I relied on trip advisor's reviews so much for my trip. ||My family and I stayed in June of last year and I'm so sorry it took me this long to write a review. Of all the places we stayed during our trip, this was our favourite. We stayed in the upstairs loft above the garage (the carriage house?) because we had 2 children (2 and 10). It was very clean, had its own kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom separate from the small living room area. There was also a working VCR and a small collection of Disney movies. Mary was very kind and accommodating. She made a very nice breakfast with pancakes and fresh fruit. We forgot the 2 yo's sippy cup upstairs in the loft and she had one in the kitchen so we didn't have to go grab it.||There's a narrow view of the ocean from the room we were in and the garden was lovely. It was great for pictures of the children. This is also located near some tourist destinations. We visited Thor's well and some tide pools nearby. Mary even provided some great information and brochures. I'd stay there again and recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. I wish I could give this B&B more stars. <3 Thanks so much, Mary!!!
