One star. I hate this place. Pay almost 1,000 a month just to stay here yet we can't even use the restrooms (long term stay). With a broken shower in our RV I feel like it would be nice for people to understand and to take an actual shower. Muddy ankle-deep puddles as you step outside of your RV. This isn't just with mine either. If we could use the restrooms it would be a way better review. Also muddy brown water that smells and tastes like chlorine. A filter for our water doesn't even fix this sometimes. Wi-Fi sucks. I've read from other reviews that they usually have people use their own hotspots. Which I think is stupid compared to how much the price is. Laundry is hard to manage. The area is nice and has books but I've had to re-dry and wash my clothes more than once. I've come from Arizona and this place has been the WORST of everyone that I've been to. It has a nice nature trail though. Small but nice.

This KOA is ok.
Good central location to see nearby waterfalls and stuff.
The water smelled like sulfur and was a little brown, so we definitely didn’t top off our fresh water tank here.
There seem to be a large number of long term campers in RV’s that look like they might not even be able to move. To be fair though, a large number to me is more than one or two. There were 5 to 10 that looked rough.

I still give it 4 stars, it seemed safe, staff was nice and the place was kept up.

Very disappointed in KOA we have stayed at monthly for almost 10 years with our dog rescues. We reserve a site online that asks if you have pets, we checked in at 2:00pm with our rescues, we spent the night with our dogs, then at 8:00am a staff member tells us we must pay $3.00/dog because it’s a new rule and that WE neglected to tell them we had dogs. Really? We paid, but will never be back. Your welcome KOA for 10 years!

This isn't a one star rating - we can't rate because we didn't stay there but it wouldn't allow me to post without a rating. We arrived for our 1 night stay & my husband learned that they don't allow you to wash the front of your RV. We've been traveling cross country for 6 years, stayed in KOA's, Good Sam's, golf RV resorts and privately owned campsites and have not once been told we can't clean up the front of the Coach. It might be a great place to stay, but if you are anal about cleaning the bugs off your windshield & the front cap, don't stay here!

After a long day of travel we arrive to see there are no womens showers due to construction. I was told to use the men's. Not appropriate. Didn't even give us a discount even though the services were unavailable. We have told our Canadian friends who are travelling this way, they will not be stopping in.

We stopped for one night and had a pull thru FHU site. We were near the road. We could hear the road noise when we were outside. The staff was really nice. We did the mini golf and we hiked the nature trail. The bathrooms were okay. There is a nice playground for kids. The laundry room was small but nice. We enjoyed our stay. Even though it is a bit of a drive from the interstate, it was worth it.

Lots of highway noise. Brown water. Expensive washer and dryers that left clothes dirty. Staff not friendly. Good location. Park kept up.

Kudos to the new manager, what a sweet heart!
The overall condition of the property needs repair, but that's how she got it and she's on it! We had a bad refrigerator so she switched our cabin, which had a bad mattress, so they brought us the good mattress from other cabin. She said more new stuff ordered and in the way. I was having medical proceedures, they were super understanding. The kids were anxious the pool wasn't open and park wasn't finished yet...but it rained the Whole Week we're there and it was before the holiday weekend.

Looks like it's going to be great in a few weeks when it's all new, fixed back up, and open.
Friendly helpful staff!
Shower rooms safe, clean and warm!
Nice Laundry facilities super affordable and next to showers. Also has space to move around, fold stuff and books/games to use while there!
Super easy access to the local towns and sights, family friendly, and trying hard to get the park spiffed up. Can't wait to stay again. All the perks of.. but cheaper than a hotel!! Bonus: with the space and freedom of camping in nature..but closer to town.
