Very comfortable bed, great breakfasts, plenty of hot water, great hosts, Greated by a couple of cats. I'd stay thee again were I to visit El Morro or the Ice Caves. Very quiet place just 1/2 hour's drrive from Gallup. Do know though that if you're over 6'2" tall that Room 5 might not be your first choice.

This is apparently the only place that visitors can stay in Zuni. After I booked the room, I was sent clear instructions on how to locate the Inn. But since I didn’t read it, we were a bit confused but eventually found it. Our original room was on the second floor of a two story building. The room was quite spacious but we declined it because I didn’t think we would be able to get our luggage upstairs without a struggle and the building had a very strong smell of cat urine . They have several cats that hang out on the property and apparently visit that building. We took a much smaller room in the one story building. It had a full size bed and was pushed up against the wall, so every time my husband had to go to the bathroom, I had to get up to let him by. It was awkward but we managed. The bathroom was private and clean, although it did have a door that joined another room, but it was locked. There is a main living and dining room plus a full kitchen with coffee maker and fridge/freezer. Breakfast is included and served in the next door restaurant called Halona Plaza Restaurant. There were way too many rugs in the room and bath- we kept tripping over them. We got to choose what we wanted the night before and it was the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The price was very fair.

We stayed at this place for one night a few days ago, and had a fabulous experience. The room was nicely colorful, clean, and well kept. For breakfast, you fill out a form to select what you will like and when you want to take it. The attention was superb. We greatly recommend it!

A unique place, far better experience than a standard hotel. Staff very helpful and we got street cred for having bear figure pants and the receptionist was from Bear clan. Halona fried chicken 6/5 and breakfast very good.

Stayed in room 5. Awesome cabin style room full of Zuni related artwork. Good selection of reading about Zuni and their history.

Would definitely stay here again. Room was small but nice with interesting books and art. Breakfast was ordered the night before and very good-try the blue corn pancakes. Doesn't look fancy at the front but once you get to the back it's an oasis. Hospitality was great, very helpful and enjoyed the conversations very much.

At first glace we thought it was odd but we quickly came to love that oddness. Really interesting lay-out and room decor. All I can say is, it is not your usual business hotel and if "usual" is what you prefer then maybe look elsewhere. But we were quite comfortable here, breakfast was good and staff all very nice. So glad we stayed here
