An okay roadside motel. Rooms were clean. There were no places to charge your phone near the beds. Beds were a little hard, but not terrible. Sheets were clean. Microwave was clean. Refrigerator was clean, but didn't have a freezer compartment.

This hotel turns into a Trap house/party crack house at 11pm. Front desk lady was not welcoming she was rude. SHEETS HAS STAINS. Definitely not sleeping on that bed. The shower is nice and the room is clean. When I turned on the heat I got a strong smell of urine. I woke up in the morning and opened the door all I smelled was urine. I told the guy at the front desk upon checkout and he was very polite and helped me as much as he could I didn't get his name but he was great.

Dirty, poorly maintained property. Several doors looked like they had been kicked in. Lifted the top corner of the sheets [checking for Bedbugs] and found a large stain that looked like old blood. Couldn't stay there.

Ok the place was clean and decent for an olde hotel. But theirbpet fee is ridiculous $40 per pet. I might if the place was a fancy 300 plus night hotel but no . Anyway other than that it was ok.

The review that I gave to Travelodge:

I was not impressed with the desk person when we arrived that evening. I wouldn't say she was rude, but she was cold, unpleasant and totally uninterested in me or my concerns.

Last November I had booked two king rooms through Wyndham and had the email to confirm it. When I arrived at the Travelodge, she told me that they were both double rooms. When I told her I had booked kings, she told me they were double rooms and asked, "Do you still want the rooms?" There was no empathy, and she knew that we had no other choice but to take them. She ignored my confirmation from Wyndham. We had rooms at the far end of the motel and twice I had to go back because we could not get the keys to work. Throughout it all, I felt that we were just a nuisance to her. In the room, I went online to check my account with Wyndham and discovered that someone had gone in and changed the reservations to two doubles.

The next morning, I showed the lady on the front desk my email confirmation for two kings and she was somewhat sympathetic, but claimed that "the system" had overbooked the king rooms and they were handed out on a first come basis. This is unacceptable to me, as I had booked the rooms 7 months in advance. To add insult to injury, I saw someone cleaning a king room, getting it ready for someone who had yet to arrive.

In one of our rooms, there were feces in the toilet. What does that say about cleanliness and sanitation? Did I let the lady at the front desk know? No, what good would it do? We just flushed it - which is what the cleaner should have done when she was cleaning the toilet. So, either the toilet was not cleaned or someone entered the room before we got there and used it.

The outward appearance of the motel is old and outdated. All rooms are accessed from the outside. There were people lolling about outside and a "crew van" blocked the entrance to the motel so that we had to park and walk back to register. The lobby was small, dingy, and again had someone sitting around doing nothing. It was not inviting at all. The crew van sat there all night and was still there when we left in the morning.

In fairness, the rooms had been renovated recently and the beds and bathrooms were quite nice (except for the problem mentioned above.

For a quick overnight. I highly recommend this Travelodge. I ended up here because I needed roadside assistance on I-40. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Everyone was friendly. The room was spotless. Water pressure great. All things I appreciate. Stay at many economy accommodations.
