We stayed in January, which is the slow season, so bear that in mind.

The cool historic vibe fits in perfectly with its location right on Whiskey Row. It has an old school elevator that is either really fun or really sketchy depending on who you ask, but definitely authentic.

The lovely people at the front desk were happy to furnish us with many bottles of water and were always friendly and fun to chat with when we came in and out. They were also able to direct us to all sorts of places around town, very helpful!

The room we had was spacious and neatly decked out in cowtown decor. The bed was comfortable and the curtains did a good job keeping the room dark. We chose to have a room with a view of the courthouse, which meant it was street side, which was only a little noisy (but I can see how that would be very noisy in the busy season). To that end, the hotel provided free earplugs on the nightstands.

My only complaint about anything is the decision to use a sliding barn door for the bathroom.

Overall, a great stay in a cool old building in the perfect location.

We spent 5 days here over New Years and have nothing but praise for the Hotel and especially the staff. Having stayed here a few years ago, it was wonderful to see how the building has been so beautifully restored. The rooms are very well appointed and public areas, stairs, hallways all restored to their heyday glory.||Seeing the Lounge, Bistro and Speakeasy open and also well renovated and offering great food & drinks was a delight!||BUT beyond all else, the culture that exists is exceptionally good! We interacted with many staff during our stay and without fail they were all very friendly and super helpful! From offering (without prompting) to put a fridge in our room to the late-night Ice and Water pick-ups from reception, everyone, including the house keeping staff, went out of their way to engage in conversation and make us feel at home. Literally nothing was too much trouble!||The management have developed this wonderful culture that is so genuinely customer focused.||It truly was a delight to stay here and unquestionably one of the best Hotel experiences in my life and I've traveled extensively!

(Photos included)Firstly, ABSOLUTELY LOVED this place for the customer service! Everyone was kind, helpful, happy and genuine! They all spoke highly of each other and the new business owner that is currently renovating this place.
We had the standard king room. The pros; super cute, well decorated, clean, and the bed was super comfortable!
Cons(but not really if you keep in mind this place was built in the 1900s.) The bathroom is a TIGHT squeeze your face is in the sink while you use the porcelain throne. There's only 1 electrical plug in the room and it's behind the bed.
So all of your stuff has to be charged in 1 corner of the room off of a port extender.
If you can get past those 2 things, then you're going to love it! (We 10 out of 10 will be returning)

The lobby has many comfortable leather winged back chairs, beautiful wooden whiskey barrel tables and a roaring fire place in the evenings during the winter. It is also well stocked with a variety of different games for you to pull out and play. Miraculously, every game we played had ALL of the pieces with NONE missing.
It was a super fun time relaxing and enjoying the ambiance with the smooth classical music tickling your mind in the background.

If you're looking to submerge yourself in western comfort, this is the place to do it!

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is quaint and beautiful. The lobby bar was comfy and welcoming. The Bistro has excellent food. There was live music in the Lobby Bar and Speakeasy. Our room was perfect facing the Courthouse. The Christmas lights just added to the environment. I highly recommend this destination and hotel.

Hotel St Michael is the perfect place to stay in Prescott for your vacation. It is located on Whiskey Row across from the Courthouse park square. This area was brightly decorated in Christmas lights and is in walking distance to numerous food and eclectic shopping options. The hotel along with the neighborhood is elegant and charming and full of history. The staff at the hotel are friendly and attentive. Our stay was comfortable and restful. The room was tidy and clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very interesting hotel! The elevator is very old but it is extremely cool to see how elevators where so long ago. The original wood and wall paper are absolutely gorgeous. The hallways are a little too dark but that's probably to make it feel more haunted or something. The staff is really cool and will let you walk around the hotel to see everything for yourself! We walked through and took some pictures of everything. Theybalso have a Cafe and small shops attached to the hotel! Very cute and intriguing!
