Apparently, their system doesn't carry over when you mark that you're traveling with pets.

So even if you are diligent and mark your reservation that you're traveling with pets, you still need to disclose it at the desk because it does not carry over to the desk staff screen.

Or you can have the not so entertaining and very exhausting experience that I just had of having to juggle all your stuff and your dogs between rooms.

Most importantly, nothing on the Motel 6 app discloses that they are now charging a $10/night pet fee. If that is specific to this hotel, I just won't stay here anymore. It's something new for all of Motel 6, then I just won't stay with Motel 6 anymore.

The whole attraction, besides being economical, was the lack of fee for pets. Which is also economical.

Additionally, the front desk advised me that they are asking people with service dogs for an identification card, which is illegal. It is illegal to ask for proof of service for service dogs. That's not a problem for me because my dogs are barely emotional support. LOL. I'm their emotional support human.

So, if you have a true service dog, prepare for difficulties.

This was an ok motel but we only paid $97 so I guess you get what you pay for. It was right over the London bridge so that part was cool. The door to the room was hard to open and the remote was missing so the guy from the front was nice enough to give us another one. The AC was really cold so that was great. The two people in front of us at the check-in line had issues with their card and we didn't initially but the card did stop working the second time we tried. We were all on the 2nd floor. The guy at the front desk was very nice. I slept pretty good, wish we would have had more pillows. They gave us 2 per bed i think. I used one from the couch and it worked. We didn't use the shower or walk around but my mom said it's close to some areas where you can walk and be close to the lake.

Friendly Staff is why this hotel received 2 stars otherwise, it would've been a 1 star. Starting from the time we arrived until we left - Front door does not open properly and is out of alignment and lobby is nothing to call home about. Couches worn down tables of obviously asleep and wiped down, but you can see smear marks everywhere from them doing it so not a very good job. Arrived at 3:30 for check in and was asked to come back in 45 minutes as room was not ready. Returned 45 minutes later, room was still not ready and did not get into our room until 5:10. We booked a King room with kitchen, asked for a high floor. We were given a (fully remolded room?) on the main floor. The room was not fully remolded as the bathroom was not done and in my opinion was nasty! Bathtub needed a serious scrubbing, baseboard missing behind door, dirt along the edge of the floor, mold on the ceiling and exhaust fan not working properly. Water is extremely hard and the entire time we stayed there we never got hot water out of the shower (lukewarm only). We were supposed to have a fully stocked kitchen. We had a refrigerator, microwave dishwasher, dirty two burner stove, sink and absolutely nothing in the cabinets to use (no pots pans, dishes, utensils, cups, soap, towels - NOTHING so could not utilize it like I should've been able to). Ice makers in the entire hotel did not work so we had to go to the main desk to get ice. Parking lot is okay with lots of room for parking but the landscaping needs help big time (weeds and dead plants) and half the lights in the parking lot are out!

To summit up very disappointed in our stay at this hotel! For the price we paid I expected so much more than what we received. The entire hotel is ran down and needs a facelift!

It is easier to list what worked. The tv and hot water worked. The heat, sink didn't drain, the slider needed new wheels. Paid $175 for a room that should have been $60 on the discounted room rate. Totally disappointed and would not stay here again.

We booked this hotel for the location. The front desk personnel were wonderful and very personable. They booked us into an accessible room on the 4th floor. (I have limited mobility)
The room was clean but it seemed like it was in the midst of being repaired/renovated. There wasn't a curtain on the patio window, the patio door wouldn't stay on the track, no waste can, chairs or coffee pot, and the plumbing in the bathroom spew water all over me and the bathroom when I first used it. Thank goodness I wasn't in a wheelchair or it would of gotten me right in the face. We tried to shower but there wasn't any hot water that morning. The front desk crew apologized for the inconvenience and at least was able to get us a coffee pot. The next day they were able to get us a patio curtain and waste can.

I have 2 stars for the staff and the view.

Andy and his staff are really great! The location is amazing. Bags of ice being available for purchase in the lobby is really convenient. Decent dog area in the back. Once the entire hotel is renovated it will be really nice. Our room was dated but it was comfortable and we had no issues. Cant wait to come back next year. My cat being able to stay is the reason we chose the hotel and will continue to stay here from now on.

Terrible property manager. Wont even return customer call. Overbooked didn't get what was reserved bait and switch. Bathroom fan not working had to leave window with no screent open whole time to ventilate room, popup stopper bathtub missing, water backingup in tub, one blanket missing.

This hotel was the most disastrous choice we've ever made. I don't know what problem was worse, but I'll start with the filth. Our room was DISGUSTING. There were long black hairs everywhere, in the bed, all over the bathroom, the floor. Cheetos were everywhere, including all over the sheets. Obviously the sheets had not been changed. The bathroom was so disgusting, we brought in our flip-flops because our feet stuck to the floor. Ugh! No place to plug in your phone.

Nothing worked - the TV, internet, worst of all, the front desk person, the A/C. We kept hoping it would cool off because it was so hot outside, but we were up most of the night in the horrible heat. You'd think the cold shower would help - no hot water, of course, but that was temporary.

The receptionist stopped answering the phone at the TV not working. You get the idea this was normal. This place RUINED our Havasu visit. The venue is perfect. The hotel was garbage. Good reviews MUST be manipulated, as we were.

UPDATE: The hotel pretended to respond below, but in truth, no one responded, or cared, in the whole company. They should have paid us for staying in their trashy place. What a miserable time we spent there. 🙁
