Not what I expected at all. Pretty busy at 2pm on a Saturday. Counter staff were very nice, asked questions, wanted to make sure you get the best possible experience. The roast beef sandwich and the healthy rueben were excellent and delicious. This is my new sandwich shop. the roast beef was fresh not packaged sliced meat, medium rare the way I like it. They are not shy with their portions either. the Cole slaw and pasta salad were awesome too. Even the Pickle was Crispy. This is the place, try it! The picture of the empty container says it all, ate it all.

Just driving by my wife and I saw the sign for bagels, being from New York we have been looking for a good bagel place since 2003. Well I must say we finally found our bagel place to supplement not living in New York. It was an incredible experience and the bonus is they serve Boars Head cold cuts!!!
Got to meet and have a conversation with Derek one of the owners what a gentleman this place is clean, the food is incredible employees from the cashier to the cook. Everybody was polite just upmost incredible experience. Highly recommend DJ’s Bagel Cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner.!!!

Stopped by for lunch with my coworkers and had a great sandwich with an awesome treat for desert. 🥪

I ordered a tuna sandwich on sourdough and grabbed one of the captain crunch cereal bars for dessert and was in a sugar coma after.

Zero complaints.

I will probably come here once a week to try a new menu item and slowly work my way through this menu.

A friend told me how amazing the food was here at DJ's so I had to try it. The service was quick, friendly and plenty of options for breads and sandwiches. I chose the wrong one, I ordered a Tuna Sandwhich on Rye. The tuna tasted old and unsalted. The presentation was on point! I hope to come back and try something else, without tuna. And, imo, when i want onions, i would like a few, cut, not a whole cross-section that you cant bite through and pulls the tuna and lettuce right out of the sandwhich on the first bite.

Holy bagels, Batman! Yes this is a nice bagel shop with a pretty amazing list of bagel sandwiches of every bat topping you can imagine. No Joker ! And while it has a comfortable patio and is also very dog friendly (they offered us a dog water dish and a doggy whip cream snack, chilled by Mr Freeze I presume ?) I have only one problem I'd like to point out. No vegan milks or bagel spreads... Holy vegan cow , Batman!!!. No soy milk ?!?! It's an enigma worthy of the riddler.

Don’t recommend going here unless you’re already a regular. I went on Wednesday for breakfast, but while waiting to place an order I was ignored. A regular came in after me, and the lady taking orders greeted her warmly and took her order, continuing to ignore me. I tried to get her attention, but she overlooked me again and started taking someone else’s order. After being ignored twice I just left, and the lady taking orders didn’t seem to notice or care.

Phenomenal bagels! The friendliest employees! So many yummy choices, my hubby couldn't decide what kind of sandwich he wanted and they sweetly offered to put together whatever he wanted by just listing the ingredients. As you can see, it came out magnificent! So fresh and tasty. They have a ton of unique bagel flavors. Whenever we're in Fountain Hills, we always stop at Dj's and we've even made the drive just for this shop. Definitely recommended and worth the drive 🙂
